I think I act a lot like myself at work. In some ways I'm bitchier, more sharp tongued, wittier, and more humorous at work I suppose. I think that's because when I'm not at work I actually care about the impression I leave with my friends, family, and the general public...but I could give two shits less what some PL thinks of me!

I'm the same exact person, I've tried alter egos but I just can't pull them off. I always like to be out socializing and meeting people, I get into a lot of deep intelligent conversations with people and that's my hustle at work too. I've tried dumbing myself down to see if that works but I can't keep at it, as soon as something gets brought up that I can have an intelligent conversation I completely forget about trying to act dumb and bubbly.

I used to think I was a completely different person out of work and to an extent I am. But not fully. Outside of work I like to hide from people and only deal with them when I must. But when I want something I am very in ur face. Sometimes I feel like a walking contradiction. At work I dont always go out of my way I wait for people to have an interest in me. Sure Ill talk with guys who r sitting at my runway and who r obviously paying attention to the dancers but it seems more and more like guys come into see a particular girl or rnt in there to tip anyone. SO truthfully I dont expend energy to people who dont plan on forking over some money. Some guys wanted me to wear paisties last night and I wouldnt prolly bc they each tipped one measly dollar for one song... Unless I see alot of money I refuse to go topless. They expect too much for practically free in bikini bars and quite frankly they can kiss my ass. I value myself and my time inside and out of the bar and I am selective in both places as to who gets my time and attention. But alot of times I like to blend in around people when I am running errands on my off time. I dont like wearing makeup when Im not working unless I have to go to a show etc. So I guess overall my personas mesh a little. Its hard to keep both people completely separate lol.

My "stripper self" is my real self and the "real me" is my alter ego. I pretend to be who I am not in real life because you can't walk around in 8 inch heels and lingerie and not get looked at weird.

More like me on seven different types of speed. I learned how to keep some traits out of the club and to over do others. I like to be different types of the same person depending on who I'm talking to. I can be charming, dumb, wild, horny, a cheerleader, a smartass, or just well-versed in bs

I'm very self-deprecating outside of work. At work, I consciously avoid that .Some of the best advice I got from an experienced stripper is to act expensive, and like you live the high life, even if you're wearing Target lingerie you got on sale and you're struggling to pay rent. It doesn't mean acting snobbish or overconfident, but just not interrupting the fantasy. It also makes them think you're not good enough to make good money if you complain about being poor.

Also, stripper me is super horny and says she has to restrain herself from jumping the customer. Real me has a long-term boyfriend who gets laid once in a blue moon. Both before and after I started stripping. I just have a low sex drive.

I am, however, quite extroverted cheeky outside of work. When I go to a party or club, I've always been an exhibitionist and flirted even with men I have no interest in hooking up with. It's just the way I am. However now I have chronic fatigue, so I don't actually have the energy to go out much outside of work. But I definitely have a party girl personality.

My stripper self is essentially me but more outgoing and ditzier than the real me.

No but I wish it was! To me it seems like the most successful strippers are the ones who are able to instantly switch into their stripper mode/alter ego as soon as they walk in the door.

SO true! The worst thing is that since I stopped dancing, almost a year ago, I really miss my stripper persona! I had gotten really used to her for the past 5 years...
