Default Payoneer Launches Peer-to-Peer Transfer Service

    Just saw this article http://www.xbiz.com/news/133445

    By Lyla Katz
Monday, May 2, 2011 Text size:

NEW YORK — Payoneer has launched a new peer-to-peer transfer service, allowing money to be sent from one Payoneer cardholder to another at 50 cents per transfer.
The company said the card is loaded within two hours. As part of the launch, Payoneer is offering cardholders three months of free peer-to-peer transfers beginning now and continuing through July 31 at 12 p.m. EST.
To make a transfer, cardholders need to login to My Account and select Transfer to Another Card under Tools.
Payoneer is an online payment distribution solution providing online businesses and other companies a way to deliver compensation to their suppliers and partners worldwide.

Does anyone have the option under their account. I don't have it yet, but the article claims it should be available now. I'm wondering if this throws out the whole private load bs an 3 % load fees and we can actually get the daily pay money from pj that day as a peer to peer transfer??

This is new? I though we could already accept "Private loads".

I know about private loads but that is a 3% fee and takes about 2 business days to get accepted then 2 business days to load the funds for us so 4 business days total.

this article says "peer to peer transfer" between cardholders .50 cents fee and have the money in 2 hours

    Hey guys,

If you don't see the option for this in your accounts, please let me know which partner program you signed up through and I'll look into it.

Also, please note that this new service is not connected to private loading. The card to card transfer service is a direct transfer of funds between Payoneer cardholders, meaning you can send available funds from your Payoneer account to another Payoneer account.

We're very excited about this new service, and please keep us updated with any feedback/comments you may have.

    Thanks

I can! Is this available/ready for use on your end today, PJ? If so, I'll be making the switch...

I have the option under the "Tools" category. Jenny, if you're able to use this feature, would it be possible for you to pay me this way, for the next couple payments at least? I need to make a certain amount by Friday but I won't get the funds in time using Payoneer's standard private load feature. Let me know, thanks!

So let me get this straight, once PJ gets accepted as a business partner, we can get a cute (pink? say its pink) debit card from payoneer and then our money is loaded on to it every day through this system?

    I'm liking that

and there is no charge to get the money via a PoS transaction right? Just the .50 to have her transfer money from her payoneer card. OR would this all not work because her loading money to a payoneer card is a different sort of loading

^^ I don't think we need to get a new Payoneer card. She'll just become a partner that we can add on to our list, and then we can get payments instantly

No, there is a charge for PoS transactions. They take an extra percent of everything you buy - I think it ends up being like 2% more than whatever the amount is you paid.

    Hey,

The card to card transfer service is a new service we have launched that allows funds to be sent from one Payoneer cardholder to another. Please note, however, that there is a limit as to the amount of transfers that can be sent per month, and it's not a service intended to be the main method of payout for our partner programs.

Partner programs can send payments directly to all of their members, and there is no limitation on that. Once they have completed the partner registration and are approved, there will be no need to send you payments via private loading, which means you can get your payments faster and cheaper.

For that reason, if you're working with a business or company that doesn't offer Payoneer, and you feel getting paid with Payoneer would be a good idea, let us know, and let them know.

As always, if you sign up to receive payment via Payoneer from an affiliate and already have a Payoneer card, you can link your account with them to your already existing card (assuming the affiliate allows it).

Thanks guys, and please keep the comments and feedback coming!

To be clear, we do not charge you for PoS transactions. Any % charge on a PoS transaction would be by MasterCard, for cross-boarder or currency conversion, and Payoneer does not profit from those charges.

Payoneer and PayPal are not affiliated with each other, and we offer very different products and fee structures. There are of course differences between the two of us, for example at Payoneer we strongly believe in customizing our service for each individual affiliate and market we enter. While the core of our service is the same all around, the structure and way it is used can vary greatly, because everyone needs our service for their own reasons.

We make it a goal to allow our affiliates to customize the service we offer so that it best suits their needs, and the needs of their members, and I believe that overall this provides many benefits that other companies cannot offer.

I won't comment on the specifics of what other companies offer, especially when taken out of context as there are many other things to consider overall. I do, however, welcome all feedback and suggestions, so if there is something you'd like to see us add in the future check out our community page (link on our main website, payoneer.com, and in my sig) and let us know!

    Thanks for that information.

Why do I get charged extra money every single time I use my card? I am in the USA and using my card in the USA. How could I be charged for currency conversion at a local or online store right here in the same country?

I have other Mastercards and I never get charged an extra fee.

that's odd laurie - i don't think i've ever been charged for every single transaction w/payoneer (i'm also in the us), but the monthly fee goes up based on the number of transactions. i do get charged every time i take money out at the atm, but i've used my card at a coffee shop and not gotten charged extra, i don't think. i try to avoid extra transactions though because i don't want to pay a bigger monthly fee.

Can you please PM me with the name of the affiliate program you registered with? Monthly fees are either a set amount, or go down if you have a certain amount of transaction each month....they should never increase as you use the card more often.

Well if you and jenny are making a customized program for us cam girls let me chip in my 2 cents on what would be perfect

We get paid on the same day she sends us our money for a reasonable fee... I think she said in an earlier post she sends over 20k USD a day or something staggering like that so yall dont need to be taking a bazillion percent to make money off that! 2% sounds fair enough. Not 2.something with an extra random amount of money tagged on

We can use the card at POS transactions for free! Sounds like this should be happening but isnt sometimes? I used walmart's 60 cent money orders to get money off my paypal card since it was cheaper than an atm fee

No monthly maint fee if we get a certain amount loaded on the card, like greendot is free if we load a certain amount or have a certain amount of transactions

i'm sorry, you're right - i totally misread that. i have several partners registered but i originally opened my account through imlive. i just checked the fee schedule again and it DOES go down, not up, if you have more transactions. that is REALLY good to know, i have no idea how in all the tons of times i've looked at that fee schedule page i managed to read it the opposite way, other than i'm just an idiot, lol. thank you for clarifying that.

i'm pretty sure i've only ever been charged a per-transaction fee for atm withdrawals...never for just using my card to buy something. but i haven't used my card for debit purchases that often.

i switched my dailypay option to alertpay for now (and am going back to work this week, oh joy!), but as soon as pj is made an affiliate i will probably switch back to payoneer
