    Default Dancing while pregnant

Has anyone ever danced while pregnant? Knew someone that has? What are your thoughts on it? How do you think customers will react?

I'm in a really bad spot and might have to dance while preggers. I'm 15 weeks and really only show after I eat. I think I can conceal it for now...
Anyones feedback would be greatly appreciated.

i had to dance when i was prego w my 2nd kid.. i danced until i was 7 1/2 months.. pls note* i was very small b4 getting prego and didn't start showing much until 6 1/2 months.. and most of the time my outfit consisted of a skirt and a red bustier like the ones most waitresses wear in vegas..oh and some sucking in of the stomach when i was on stage..lol

i didn't use me being prego as a sob story so that wasn't the first topic of convo unless i took off my top and a question was raised ex whats wrong w ur stomach or if they tried to get me a drink and was insisting. once they found out they got the clue and kept it moving like normal.. some was overly excited and just wanted to give me a break just because i was pregnant and in 8 1/2 in heels or had a pregnancy fetish and paid me very well
still here.... just in another chapter..

I'm so glad you shared your experience with me! I feel so relieved now. I guess I just felt like no one would want anything to do with me because Im pregnant. But to hear that men actually gave u more money, I'm hopeful now! =)

Another question, did you ever have any customers that were rude or mean because you were pregnant?

^I've never danced while pregnant, but I wanted to say that some customer will say mean things about you no matter what. Even if you were perfect they would find something mean to say. Don't let one or two mens opinions bring you down. Do what you gotta/wanna/needta do.

I think there was another thread on this.

I can't imagine guys liking it too much. Maybe you can switch to camming for the duration of your pregnancy...?

I danced until I was about 5 months pregnant. It was something I had to do in order to survive at the time.

You wouldn't think so, and perhaps I just got lucky, but I actually gained some regulars out of the experience. Pregnancy is fascinating to some men =p

First of all, discuss it with your doctor. The environment isn't exactly healthy and can be hazardous.
TWO: DON'T TRY TO HIDE IT FROM YOUR MANAGER. Be up front about it, or they may get really pissed and black list you. They have the right to say whether or not they want a pregnant girl on their roster. It's a huge liability issue.
Finally, guys can be really nasty. I can't think of many that would respond very well to it.

That's so weird, because as a woman, I stay away from pregnant chicks like pregnancy is contagious or something...

I've danced w/ girls that were pregnant many times -they usually just keep going until they start to show alil too much & then switch over to masseuse or waitress when it becomes alil too obvious.

I danced when I was pregnant too. I learned to keep Listerine in the bathroom after a couple trips to the bathroom. Lol!

I once danced with a girl who was pregnant. She danced until 4-5 months I believe and not sure why even that long since she had another job and her husband also made a lot. I don't think I could do this because it seems so dangerous for the baby.

She got some interesting regulars once they found out she was pregnant. Some men are attracted to pregnant women, which I've never understood. I can understand these men that are turned on by their pregnant wife, since they did it together, but another pregnant woman? Makes no sense to me but different strokes.

I danced with my first too.
Until 5 months when I started to show...then I stopped.

I think it's fine if you're not showing.

I haven't danced at all during this pregnancy. Did the cam thing for awhile, but quit that too once I started to show.
(I'm just personally not comfortable with weird/rude/sick comments...my skin isn't thick enough)

If your club is okay with it, and you're okay with it, you gotta do what you gotta do.
(I've just seen a lot of signs in clubs that say if you're pregnant to let management know. I guess for liability reasons or something...I really don't know)

I got pregnant, and then 3-4 other girls at my club got pregnant too.

I danced until I was about 4 months along.. I may have quit later but I was doing a dance and she started kicking and I felt so wrong :/ Plus there was this fucking bitch I worked with who was telling all the guys I was pregnant. Grrr, I hated that big nosed biotch! I worked with a few girls that danced until they were really showing. TBH, it didn't really affect their money. I think it's more of a personal choice than anything..

I have heard that "some men are into it" but I have never personally seen it myself. I don't doubt that it happens, I just don't think its as common as other fetishes, like feet or whatnot.

Yeah, there is a chance you'll run into a guy that has a preggo fetish and pay you tons of money....but lets be real here, what are that chances of that really happening? Now no one get snarky with me, I am NOT saying it NEVER happens. I understand it DOES. My point is, it's not very common.

You have a child to worry about, if I were you I would do something else that you will have better chances of making money then just gambling on a fetish that might or might not happen.

Maybe waitress/bartending? or the camming idea....you might be able to actually target a preggo fetish clientele rather then going to the club and waiting for it to maybe happen!!

I worked with a girl who danced almost the whole way through her pregnancy. She had been at the club for quite a while though and had a lot of regulars already. But, even when she was obviously pregnant she still made really good money all the time.

I danced during my first pregnancy at 25. I hardly showed at all. I danced until I was about 5 months. With my second I stopped within a couple of months. Now with my third at 35, I maybe danced the first month and then stopped. I really don't want people touching me when I'm pregnant. Having danced and not danced while pregnant, I prefer to not dance...I think its better for me and the baby.

LOL your last line made me bust out laughing. I guess fatties= bad, pregnant woman= ok.

I've worked at a club that forbade pregnant dancers, if the word even got out they would make you leave. It wasn't like that in the beginning because we worked along side women who were visibly pregnant. I believe one night a guy came in and made a big stink about it. I don't know if he was anyone special to management, but after that the signs went up in the dressing room.

Some of those dancers looked pregnant even if they weren't, so it wasn't a big belly issue.

If I was in that position I would dance and save up as much money as I could before the body change. I wouldn't work if people could look at me and tell I was having a baby. Of course we all have obligations in our lives so I wouldn't hold it against anyone. I think she would get an earful from lots of people, even though it isn't any of their business.

You're assuming that the same people are saying that chubbies don't belong in the club and then turning aruond and saying that obviously pregnant women are fine, which is not happening.

Fat chicks and obviously pregnant women don't belong in upscale clubs. That's my opinion and it might piss someone off but it doesn't make me a hypocrite.

Neither is acceptable at an upscale club.
Either may or may not be acceptable at a not-so-nice club.
