So I was watching Dr. Oz (LOVE that show), and he's talking about his top 10 things to do daily to stay healthy.
I think, as strippers and sex workers, we are at risk for some seriously unhealthy lifestyles. So here are some things that aren't hard to do to stay healthier.
1. Have safe sex
2. Make half of your meals vegetables
3. Poop at least three times a week, and make sure your poop is NEVER white-if so, go to the doctor asap
4. Breathe and stretch for 5 minutes
5. sleep at least 7 hours a night
6. Take one half of your mutlivitamin in the morning, the other half in the evening. It spreads it out throughout the day and makes it easier to absorb.
7. Take a bone-building multivitamin: 1000 mg D, 600 Calcium, 400 magnesium. The magnesium is to help prevent constipation from the calcuim
8. Elimitate simple sugars
Evaporated cane juice, high fructose corn syrup, and brown rice sugar all count as simple sugars
9. eat an egg a day. 13% of your daily protein and only 4% of your daily calories, on average.
10. Sit less, move more
