Went to the doc. Got diagnosed with lots of shit.
So they upped my thyroid medication from 25 mcg to 50 mcg, but they'll need to check my levels again in 6 weeks.
However...I mentioned my joint pain. So the doc checked me out and put me through my motions. I was diagnosed with 3 different joint problems. For my shoulder pain, I got Myofascial Pain. For my knee pain: Patellafemoral Pain Syndrome, aka Runner's knee. For my wrist and elbow: Medial Epicondylitis, or Golfer's Elbow.
I'm not sure about the knee diagnosis. I have had the knee pain since I was 12 years old. The golfer's elbow I'd believe, since I didn't have that until I started to really get into pole tricks. THe myofascial...jurys still out. I am going to go to physical therapists soon, so they'll really be able to take a good look at it.
Anyone else have any of these? Share stories, things that work for you, things that don't...
