    Default Frizzy hair

Anyone have any remedies or know of any good products for frizzy hair?
I dunno if it's because of the humidity and the sudden heat, but my hair has turned into a frizz ball.

Not just my hair, but my extensions too. (They're human hair).

I think it might be because my flat iron is a piece of crap , but it's all I have right now.

I dunno, but my hair is driving me absolutely insane!

Does anyone have any remedies or can you recommend any hair affordable hair products that tame frizz??

    Thank you.

argan moroccan oil. you can get it at sallies. amazing for both hair extensions and your hair. however, if your extensions are in by some sort of fusion method (hot fusion or microlinks etc) make sure you dont get the oil on the bond because it will make them come out.

    it smells good too.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

John Freida's 3 day straight works well. Also I'm getting a Brazilian Keratin Treatment tomorrow using Brazilian Blowout Zero so I'll keep yo posted on results.

I use their Acai serum and love it.

Avery- Didn't you just dye your hair a lighter color? I find anytime I damage my hair it brings some frizz out.

To combat that I do the brazillan blowout when I need it. (When in Fl)

I really havent found any products that really work in combating frizz unfortunately. I use Jonathan straightening lotion and argan oil and it seems to work a little.

Leave in conditioners, if you tan when your in the bed (and dont mind getting your hair messy and having to shower after) just gunk your hair with leave in conditioner, wrap in a towel and the heat from the bed does something (sorry I forget exactly what) but it makes the conditioner really work, then go home and shower/wash your hair and that should help. If not you could possibly do the same thing but use the heat from a hair dryer.

Also olive oil is great for your hair.. idk prob once a month or so I just cover myself with olive oil in the shower, hair and body, and let it soak for 10min or so and then scrap off the excess off my body and just rinse my hair and leave it for awhile (like if you have time to maybe sit outside by your pool or lay on a couple towels in your room and watch tv so you dont get everything gross) then later shower and wash my hair.

EDIT: I dont know how the olive oil would hurt your extensions if they could?? might want to look into that or ask your stylest or something. or just put the oil on the bottom half of your hair??

I did about 7 months ago, and only had it that way for like a week before dying it back to my natural color. (Couldn't find extensions to match )

I really think it's the humidity because I've never had any problems before.

I'm definitely going to to look into those products though. Thank you.

Mine are just clip in extensions, so it should be okay.
I've been reading that olive oil (and eggs) help, so I might as well give it a try.

    Thank you.

I use coconut oil in my hair before I flat iron it, and it really helps. You can also use it as a leave in treatment overnight. Be careful to only use a tiny amount before flat ironing though, it's really greasy.

I mix pure argan oil with my Moroccan Oil to give it extra moisture/frizz fighting power. I hate frizz! I air dry my hair and it's always super frizzy, it usually goes away when I flat iron but I only do that for work.

I received a sample of this Alterna shampoo at Sephora http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...egoryId=C23190 and I was surprised by how well it worked! It's kinda expensive but I'm tempted to buy a bottle. They also have an anti frizz humidity spray that I want to try.

Speaking of Alterna- I found it half price on Hautelook.com right now if anyone uses it. I have some and I am unsure still if I like it better than pureology. They have argan oil on there half price right now too.

A few more products that recently crossed my mind:

Matrix Sleek Look conditioner (it's in an orange bottle) - the woman that used to do my nails raved about this conditioner to me when we both had hairlocs extensions. It makes your hair soooo silky and smooth. I was skeptical because it looks like it would be a crappy conditioner but surprisingly it works better than my more expensive products. I don't use it all the time though because it has silicones in it, but that also makes it work better when I'm not using it everyday.

Next product I'm recommending is amazing because it is a frizz tamer that has NO silicones in it!! Which is amazing because it works so well, and is better for your hair without the heavy silicone. It's from a french brand called Phyto and is called Phytodefrisant. http://www.sephora.com/browse/produc...egoryId=C13320

I thought I had lost my tube but found it again while cleaning out my suitcase. I love it! Used in conjunction with that matrix conditioner and my hair is fuzz-free

Have you used biosilk? Are you using a heat protection spray before you straighten your hair or use any type of heat on it? I use biosilk and bedhead after party styling creme.

I use a deep conditioner, argan oil, AND Kiehl's leave n conditioner formula 133. Honestly the Kiehl's leave in is fantastic! It is hands done the best leave n conditioner I have ever used in my life.

Thanks for the recommendation on the phyto. I have read so many online recommendations on it so I am going to get it!

I absolutely love matrix sleek look but it seems to irritate my scalp. When I want my hair stick straight-that is what I use.

Getting a brazilian blowout has been the best thing to ever happen to my naturally curly/dry hair. It literally repairs your hair and although it doesn't straighten it completely if you have any sort of wave to your natural hair it makes a world of difference. No frizz, dries faster, just much more manageable.

Other than that I love my L'anza healing strength neem plant silk serum. A tad bit pricey but I love the way it makes my hair (and extensions) feel and it lasts FOREVER.
