Default How to avoid stolen credit card use and chargebacks

Last week I had a customer find me on a yahoo listing site. He bought a show on skype with alertpay and is playing games with me draining his wallet as well as some forced intox stuff. First night he sent me $300, second night he sent me $200. The money went through to my bank account after I cashed out and I haven't gotten anything about chargebacks, but I'm still wary of doing more shows with him. He keeps telling me how girls have gotten over $1,000 from him in one show and keeps asking me to play. How do I know he isn't some druggie who is using stolen cards? Some of you may have encountered a guy like this who I know was doing that to a lot of girls last year.

I guess your best bet is to develop a system to show proof that he did receive services so that in the even there is a chargeback, you can fight it! I don't do a lot of indy work as I'm new, but I'm sure you could develop a system of screenshots say every few minutes for short shows, maybe do a confirmation somehow? I don't know - anybody with more experience have any ideas?

So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

All you can do is listen to your gut, give him a good show so he won't want to do a chargeback, and get proof you gave what was paid for.

    IMPOSSIBILE !!
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO AVOID STOLEN CREDIT CARDS AT 100%
I think if someone pays in Verified (if he knows the credit card's security code) the legit card holder can't do a charge back because he is supposed to keep his code secret (that what i 've heard I am not sure though)
Days ago I had a guy that bought the most expensive show on my website (I am always terrorised by those who want to by the most expensive show for the first time)
You know what I did ? I asked him his name then I asked him to turn on the webcam, show his face, identity card and credit card to assure that he was the legit cardholder
Fortunately he was the cardholder, plus I save all messenger and skype history
    Good luck

Honestly I don't think that would affect the outcome at all.

Credit card companies always seem to side with the customer whenever it involves a non-signature purchase from any type of adult site. I don't know of anyone or any company who has ever gotten a reversal, and they can do it up to 6 months later from what I read.

Even CCBill just permanently blocks them from future purchases, but doesn't successfully collect once they charge back once.

Anyone here ever successfully win a case like this?

I have dealt with online business (different industry) for 10 years now. Sadly my experience is that charge backs go through 100% of the time. There is basically nothing a seller can do about it aside from blocking them from future purchases.

Thankfully though 99% of customers are honest, so I would just suggest doing business as usual. When it happen just have to think of it as the cost of doing business and move on.
