I have really thin feet so I glue Silver Lining or Pleaser shoe halters into my shoes, like where my arch would be. They look like this: http://www.electriqueboutique.com/wo...t-/HALTER.html

You might want to change the brand of shoe you are using or buy 2 size larger. I find Ellie Shoes are great for short toe girls and Pleasers are great for slender foot/long toe girls.

I meant 1 size larger.

Have you ever danced in shoes with a closed toe? It hurts alot initially but it is so worth it.

Hmmm...
Maybe try a pair of Ellie's. The hole for your toes looks smaller. Or perhaps try clear shoes. I used to wear Ellie and I would go up a size because me foot is a 7 1/2 and they don't make 1/2 sizes. I never had claw toe, but I replaced my shoes 2 or 3 times a year.
Either way...Good Luck!

Babe, I'm guessing that you're aware that the cause of 'claw toe' is nothing to do with shoes aren't you.? It's a muscle imbalance in the foot.

^Your posts are always so full of great information!
Pleaser has a line called "spring-o-lators" usually in the name or serial number of the shoe it will have the abbreviation SOL.
They keep your foot really snug in the shoe so they won't go anywhere. When I first got a pair they were so snug I thought I wouldn't be able to wear them but after about a week of wearing them around the house I got used to them.

I have very narrow feet and this has been an issue as long as I've been stripping. Just can't do closed toe. I bought Pleaser's Springolaters with high hopes. They were great until I broke them in and stretched out the front opening. Now I need to pad the inside just like my other shoes. Problem is, too much padding makes for a too squishy and unstable surface under the ball of my foot, then I wobble a little.
I tried something called Toekinis, purchased at Walgreens that helped some, but completely.
I sew, so I'm now trying to dream up some sort of open-toe half sock to keep my feet from sliding forward.......
I'll post if I successfully manage to invent this!

^^ Really? My springolators are still super tight after a few months. the spring in the sole & the toe opening.

I want a pair of boots for this exact reason! I've been really lazy about finding a pair though hehe...
