Thoughts? Which is better? I know Latisse is more expensive and is Rx only but if it works better I would justify the cost. Thanks!

Also I would like to know if the generic (Careprost?) sold online on alldaychemist.com works just as good? or shoudl I save for the real thing?

i totally forgot about this thread. i'm really interested in hearing more experiences of latisse users. if you are not desiring to darken your eye skin or your eyelash color (possibly permanently), then yes, being hesitant about using this is legitimate.
but i hope more ladies share their experiences. this is a very new cosmetic drug (thus, the reason for all of the constant giveaways) so it is good to detail experiences. i hope there will be some before/after pictures posted soon.

^ Yeah, God forbid anyone get brown eyes - YUCK!
By the way, my eyes are brown. I like 'em just fine.
Since last 4 years I am a regular shopper on this site and never faced any problem. I order HCG for my Mom and my orders do get processed quickly and courteously, thank you All Day Chemist! I place an order to buy few more careprost & HCG today ............

Just wanted to post an update. I ended up getting the Careprost. I saw results after a couple weeks and have been using a few months now (not sure the exact time line) and it def works! First effect was longer lashes more lashes appeared after a few months and idk about them being darker because I have black lashes to begin with. I feel my eyes "pop" more now with and without makeup. I have had no side effects no lash shedding more than normal. No eye darkening. The only thing I can say as a possible SE is some eyelid darkening right on the lashline, nothing noticeable and I'm OK with it since I wear eyeliner everyday and will prolly get my eyeliner tatooed on at some point. Thats my experience![]()

I've heard StimuLashFusion from Sephora is good, but it's pretty expensive, so I'll probably go with the Careprost. I was worried about the side affects, but it sounds like you guys are happy overall.![]()
The careprost looks like eye drops. Is it? How do you apply it?

It is drops. You apply it with a eyeliner brush. I use one from Target you only need a thin thin line on your lash line.
I want to try Latisse, but I also have light eyes and was worried about it changing my eye color. I did a TON of research, and this is was I learned:
The active ingredient in Latisse, bimatoprost, is also used as a glaucoma medication (Lumigan). In fact, Latisse and Lumigan are actually the exact same product, bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%. Basically the only difference is the packaging, and how the drug is administered. Lumigan is an eye drop and is applied directly into the eye. Latisse is applied to the lash margin. I have also read that you end up getting a smaller dose per application with Latisse than with Lumigan, which sounds believable but I'm not sure if it is a proven fact or just an assumption.
There are no reports of Latisse darkening anyone's iris. The reason it carries the warning because Lumigan (the same drug) has. However, it was not a very common side effect. In clinical trials of Lumigan .03%, less than 3% but more than 1% of people experienced darkening (browning) of the iris.
Also, this only*** occurred in people with hazel eyes, or in other words people who already had brown pigmentation to begin with. It did not add brown to people who didn't already have any, as in blue or green eyed people.
So basically, change in iris pigmentation with bimatoprost has only been recorded in cases where the drug was applied directly into the eye, and even then only in a small percentage of patients who already had some brown iris pigmentation. This side effect has never been reported with Latisse.
All this information is taken off the internet, I can share links if you guys want. I try and use reliable sources and double check stats against other sites, but you can never be 100%. If anyone has done research and gotten conflicting info please let me know.
***ETA: I was surfing after writing this trying to find the original sources I read, and I came across an article where a doctor said that blue eyes could turn brown, and then in the same article another doctor who said that this wouldn't happen. So maybe it is possible, but it at least seems that the majority of people whose irides darkened already had brown pigmentation to begin with. And again this is with Lumigan, not Latisse.
