    Default Ughhh I'm so annoyed!

I just worked on Streamate for the first time in a while. It started storming while I was working, and my fucking power went out twice The first time, I was in the middle of a really long exclusive with a guy who didn't want me to do anything except try on clothes for him. Then the sun was out and it was super nice so I kept working, and the power just went out AGAIN while I had just started an exclusive! Ahhh! So now I have two shitty ratings I should've just gotten off the first time but the weather had cleared up so I thought I would be fine.

Also, I have a question - someone inquired about buying my panties today, and messaged me about it. Well he didn't give me any of his contact info, and I obviously didn't want to volunteer mine. Is there a way to get around the rules, or should I just forget it? I'm paranoid and don't want to get banned...

Happened twice here too. The power outages were more like "blinks", but enough to shut things down for a minute or two and piss me off.

Battery backups I recommend APC 1500 XS or RS. They support 1500VA or the more commonly used 850 watts of power. I have the predecessor to the current APC 1500 and the battery has been going strong for 4 years. I also have two current APC 1500s and the battery hasn't failed since I bought them (2 years ago/crossing-fingers). They retail between 150-200$. They also provide you with a read-out of the current load/wattage, which you may find interesting or helpful concerning your electrical usage. My electric during the summer usually comes to around 600-700/month so every little bit helps (I hate florida summers).

Wonderful advice, but I rent an apartment so that wouldn't be feasible for me. Thank you though!

I don't think you understood what she was suggesting. She isn't suggesting a generator, she's suggesting something like this: http://www.staples.com/APC-Back-UPS-...product_797220 It takes up the same amount of room as a computer tower and it allows you to stay online long enough to save your work and power down in case of a power outage. It also keeps your internet/computer from shutting down when the power goes out for just a few seconds.

I have a battery backup for my computer, we have a lot of short blackouts in my area from possums and tree branches shorting out the lines. My one looks like an overs sized powerboard.

Ohhh thank you, I actually googled it and found something that was for your whole house, so I was confused. This is really helpful though!

As an added bonus battery-backups protect against undervoltages/overvoltages/surges which helps insure the longevity of the electrical devices that you have plugged-in.

Sorry to hear about the bad ratings. One of my MFC regulars (he's in Missouri) missed out on part of my public chat the other day, due to a storm in his area.

I'm not sure if Streamate penalizes you for mentioning other sites (for example, telling a guy to go to Ebanned, etc. to do panty purchases). I was thinking that if the guy is able to hear you speak, maybe you can quickly tell him about other sites without actually typing it in that chat window (not sure if that would help any?).

SM will kick you off if they find out that you are redirecting people/making sales off their site. There are ways around this. Like create a twitter or blog with the same name you use on SM. And just mention, you have to check your twitter or something. Smart guys will put two and two together and look for you.

I do have a Twitter but I couldn't get the same name as my Streamate name (it was taken). I'll try to think of ways to creatively redirect them to it. Hmmm...
