Now that I got em paid off I'm terrified..I'm scared I'm gonna go under with anesthesia and not wake up, scared I'm gonna get uniboob, bottoming out etc...
Anyone else get scared and did you back out or suck it up and march into the operating room?

These are normal thoughts. You'd be crazy NOT to be worried. Research your Dr., your Anesthesiologist (this is almost more important than your docs background check), and the facilities. That's what eased my mind. The actual reports in my hand.
Make sure your comfortable with your PS and the results you've seen on previous patients. You can also request references. Other than that....good luck and enjoy your new boobies : )
I've bad 4 BA's. No real complications and mostly for revision reasons, more personal than anything. Not because of Dr's mistakes or poor results.

I would be terrified. Honestly though, at some point everyone has to go through surgery or something where they may not wake up. Sadly it is part of the risk.
However, you are using Jackie's doctor & I would trust her opinion... so try to keep yourself calm.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I was terrified, anxious, and very excited. But, I knew my doc was good so I focused on that, and the fact my breasts were going to be awesome when I was done.

Surgery is scary when you think about it, but nowadays it's very low-risk. You're being monitored by a surgeon, an anesthesiologist, and nurses, all of whom are probably very experienced. The doctor who's going to do your BA has probably had hundreds of other patients on their operating table... the day you go in to surgery is just another day at work for them.
I've been through two surgeries, one for dental work and one that was cosmetic, and both times I was scared, but the nurses were really nice and reassuring. They're used to comforting people. You'll be fine. : )

I was not worried at all. Anaesthesiologists have an incredibly important job... if they kill you they are fucked and might as well die themselves because their career will be over. So think of it like that. They take their role very very seriously.
As for complications. Yes complications suck balls, but at the end of the day if something goes wrong, its not like you can't fix it. Yes their will be more $, pain and bullshit, but problems can be solved.
Remember people do this everyday. My doc had 3 surgeries already the day of mine and mine was at 11am! BA is pretty much the easiest surgery to perform. It can take as little as 30 mins. Think of how complicated something like a facial reconstruction is. If you've selected a qualified and experienced surgeon you need not be afraid.
