Mildly amusing. Don't care about the moves (nothing really unique), but I love the fact that its a guy wearing high heels!
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Well, it's amusing to me bc I rarely see men dance like that... & yes, with shoes in a narrow space like a subway. ha
Impressive that he didn't get to poke someone in the face with those things on.

^you should check out BadAzz. He = awesome!

I love how people getting on the train dont even barely flinch at whats going on when they walk on the train.
Gotta love that "Its none of my business..dont ask me cause I didnt see anything" NY attitude. LoL!
Edited...I was wrong...no child there...it was funny....good one
^^^^^ummmmmmmmmm na dawggs. fab is fab. people sit there cuz we know if you intrude in some ish u might get stabbed with a needle and/or we're used to it
I remember a couple years back these women did the same in bras and panties
arrested pppssshhhh. where dey do dat at????

What are we talking about here?????
Gimme a break with the NY and its greatness...I've been there plenty of times, the company I work for has a headquarters there so I've stayed there for periods of time, it's a great city, but it's also full of assholes who think they're special, and they're not.

True. There are lots of assholes, but there are also lots of cool ppl too.
Reminds me what someone once told me. The difference between NYC & LA....
"In NYC, ppl will talk shit to your face but once you leave they will say nice things behind your back." "In LA, ppl are nice to your face but talk shit behind your back once you leave."
I'll take the NY attitude in that case.![]()
we are the best sorry. And its not asshole its honesty
I see shit like this almost every time I get on the subway, when you live in NYC not a lot on the subway surprises you. The other day a guy in a mascot-style huge panda outfit got on and came over to me... I just slid along so he had room to sit down and went back to reading my Metro![]()

So true! Miami has a lot of that LA vibe as well.
One thing you cant say about NYers is that they are fake...they will tell you straight up, no sugar coating or niceties what they think... Yeah, lots of assholes, but at least theyre assholes to your face and leave no doubt!
That coming from a NYer...who is too sweet for her own good and very diplomatic lol! But my face is an open book..if I dont like you or something you say, I wont mention anything, but my expressions are a dead giveaway...
And for sure...the craziest shit could be going down right in front of me, and Im not paying it any mind at all.

If there were trains here, you'd see it here...
I thought this was an old thread resurrected, but now I am pleasantly surprised that I was wrong--but didn't we have one about subway pole tricks before??
Can't watch the video now. I'm at work and it would be playing on the sound system--not a good idea lol!
It's weird but I don't usually like watching guys do pole tricks anyway, or most women either--I get bored very easily watching people do any kind of sports on TV. But I will check it out when I get home maybe.
As far as the NYC vs other cities goes--I can see the charm. I used to love that city! Then every time I went there for several years I stayed with the stereotypical NYC Asshole--my ex's dad. And I also started seeing the bad side in other ways. For many years after that I despised NYC.
But for cultural diversity, open-minded attitudes, and a spirit that is sorely lacking in most other metropolitan areas (like say, Detroit or Cleveland), it's hard to beat NYC.
I seriously doubt I'd be able to resist playing on those poles, especially if I had any kind of buzz going. It's been years since I rode a subway type train (in Chicago) and I didn't know about pole tricks then, or I'd have done it I know. But I don't like poles with low ceilings, maybe that would throw me off. Not literally haha.

I knew that was on the L train before I checked the video. Every train in NYC is crazy and has it's moments but the L train is consistently a freak show and I do not miss riding it one bit. Last time I was on it, this crazy bum was squealing away on the saxophone and refused to stop playing until he got x amount of dollars. Since there are always 1,000 L trains on the track, we were stuck between stations listening to this fool then he noticed this equally crazy girl sitting on the floor with a GIANT nasty rat on her shoulder like she was a pirate with a parrot. He asked her if it was real and she said it was her pet, then she kissed it and he tried opening the doors to escape.
If there is a hell on earth, it's the L train.

I'm not at work so finally got to watch it. That's not the way I would ever do it, but yeah the guy is very good, especially when he busted out the one trick towards the end.
I like the way the other guy started climbing up there too.
Those poles don't look too short, either--they are actually just right for doing the 'on the ceiling' type tricks that I used to like experimenting with, where you see how flat up against the ceiling you can get. There are all kinds of ways to play on that train, it looks like, with the other bars and things to hang on.
Now I want to go to NYC to try it lol! I don't think they would go for that on the 'El' train in Chicago, but you never know, sometimes it was a zoo.

Those poles stare me in the face every friggin night I work. I'm sitting there maybe a little drunk and just stare at it. It says to me "Come play on meee" LOLz. I don't wanna bust out the moves in fear of some guy figuring out I'm a stripper and robbing me haha.
