Kmart has a self tanner made by Hawaiian Tropic on sale for a mere $5 this week, and it works and smells great! I bought all they had!
Can't help it, I'm a born....[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
I'm pale/redhead and I find Neutrogena looks a little too orange-y.
Hawaiin Tropic is decent.
Toronto-based, very rough draft, constantly asking for input!

Maybe I'd better try the Hawaiian tropic.
My main problem is, I need a bast tan before the outdoor fun season starts and I start getting farmer-tan stripes up my arms.

I like clinique's tanning lotion it is around $20 but looks very real and doesn't give off an orange color. It also lasts for about 4 days which depends on how you wash and shave. I really love it and will probably go purchase a second bottle today.
This is the tanner I recommend for price:
http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/prod...oryId=cat90026 you can also read reviews of it. I have other tanners I love but they are much pricier

Don't waste your money on drugstore self tanners. Get an airbrush tan (not in a booth) It lasts a week or longer and is the most even and natural looking. (25-40 depending on your location) Also you can checkout www.sunless.com
For sure airbrush tans that someone else does for you are the best.
If that's too pricey you could consider L'Oreal Sublime Bronze airbrush cans. They're about $14 here and last 3-4 full-body applications. I am as light as you are and this doesn't look orange.
To hide farmer's tan you'll need something pretty dark. Hawaiian Tropic might be too light and Neutrogena (applied as heavily as neccessary for a dark tan on pale skin like ours) will make you a pumpkin.
Consider investing in Jab-a-Tan. It's easy, less than $100 and freakin' natural.
