So I've decided to venture into travel dancing! I'm excited but I'd like to test the waters in a slightly more familiar area before I take off to places I've never seen before. I'm originally from Wisconsin and was planning to visit my family in mid-late June and I don't have to be back in Indiana to move into my new apartment until the middle of July. I was thinking I could go visit some nearby Wisconsin clubs for those couple of weeks and get my feet wet with travel dancing.
I've heard that Milwaukee clubs generally do not accept travelers and the only place around that does is On the Border in Franklin. Has anyone worked here?
The other place I really wanted to go was to the Wisconsin Dells. I figure they must accept travelers since they're a huge tourist spot in the summer, but has anyone heard anything about how the clubs are run? I'm especially looking for info on Wisconsin Dolls Gentlemen's Club since there are no reviews on here.
I also thought about going up to Madison since I have friends there. I thought the clubs would be good in such a big city but I've heard the only halfway decent one is Visions and they already have a crap-ton of dancers....do you think it would be worth it?
My other concern is that I'm seeing that most Wisconsin clubs are no-contact, and air dances only. I've never done, or even seen an air dance before! I have no idea how to do one. I'm also really nervous that I'll slip up and accidentally touch a customer too much (I'm used to giving hugs, kisses on the cheek, sitting in laps) and get into trouble without it actually being my intention to be a skank... Any tips?
