    Default I want to lose lbs. and tone up challenge!

    Hi ladies!! Want to lose some weight and tone up!? Then join me! We will do this the healthy way while shedding pounds and toning up those less than tight areas!

    Here is what I want from you:
    set goals
    tell us what you eat (share healthy recipes)
    tell us about your workouts
    support support support

    This isn't meant to be a competition just women supporting one another to live a healthier life style and lose weight while toning up!

    I am 5'4" and weigh 120. I am looking to lose 7lbs and tone up!

    I have eaten so far:
    2 cups of coffee with 1tbsp creamer and 2 small dollops of whipped cream

    I plan on going for a 40 minute walk in a while and doing some workout videos after.
    I am going to work out legs, bootie, abs, and arms

    I was thinking of starting a thread like this! I just got the myfitnesspal app, and I thought it would be cool if a bunch of us got it, and became friends on there, so we could see each other's progress, what we all eat each day, our workouts, talk back and forth, motivate each other, etc.

    So far, it's just me and Zinaida.....

    Yay this thread is perfect for me right now!! I'm really trying to get down to 125 lbs. I'm 5'8'' and around 133 right now.

    I've been good with exercising everyday. Yesterday I went on a run for 45 mins and the day before that I ran again and went to a boxing class (so fun!)

    Today I'm gonna be pretty busy so I won't have a lot of time to workout, but tonight I think I'll do a 30 min kickboxing workout video there is on demand.

    I'll probably post here alot cause I love reading what other girls are doing to get in shape and I like sharing workouts, recipes, progress, etc.

    so far I have only had coffee today. I am working tonight so I need to make a pretty solid meal soon.

    I walked briskly for 30-40 minutes (walked dog so there was some stopping)
    I did a toneitup work out video called the sand castle (this was extremely difficult for me and I only got to do it 2x bc it was so hard)

    Food:
    -ate some delicious chicken, onion, avocado, lime, lettuce tacos(2) on ezekial tortillas (LOVE THESE) I also drizzled with ranch and hot sauce!

    I'm on board! Don't need to lose, but do need to tone up and do a complete diet overhaul.

    I've been jogging but not consistently. I plan to change that. No gym yet because I'll be taking pole classes instead. Might as well get fit and learn some tricks all at once.

    Behavior goals:


    1. Plan my eating every day
    2. DO some sort of exercise every day. Ideally, this would be 3 days aerobic activity and 3 days pilates, and some abs every day. Maybe sometimes this means I will jsut have to hop on the exercise bike for 10 minutes and call it a day, but that is still better than nothing.
    3. Drink more hydrating fluids every day


    Results goals:

    1. Lose 3 lbs (It's those last 3, so that might be harder than it seems!)
    2. My abs will look flat when viewed in profile
    3. My ass will be firm, round and lifted
    4. My pecs will be firm and strong, creating the best possible foundation for my boobs


    That is enough goals for now. If I can do all thie first 3 things, I should get pretty close to the other 4 things. That should get me through the summer.

    Then I can make up more shit to be unhappy and insecure about . . . .

    I ate so good yesterday until the night came

    I had:
    -two glasses of white wine
    -martini
    -taco from taco beuno (GROSSS)
    -pretty much an ENTIRE bag of organic natural Cheetos
    -4 handfulls of grapes
    -half a cheese stick

    I really hate my nightly drunk eating. It is so disgusting. I would NEVER eat taco beuno if I was in my right mind. YUCK! and the cheetos I don't EVEN want to think about.

    On the bright side I didn't gain weight. I didn't lose either. This is a big deal bc I gain and lose weight ridiculously easy (mostly the gaining part).

    So far I am still in bed and not getting out for awhile.

    Exercise for today will be the same as yesterday a long walk and then a workout video!

    : I know....It's pretty bad. I don't know why I do it. I normally have plain oatmeal with maple syrup and banana but for the past two days I have not been wanting to eat until hours after my coffee.

    Today so far:

    -Ezekial toast with half a banana, all natural organic crushed peanuts, and drizzle of honey

    For dinner I am planning on a persian dish with salmon!! Cant wait!

    Current weight: 179
    Goal weight: 120ish
    Diet: Following the Abs Diet almost religiously
    Workout: P90X! Finished Phase 1 today! ^_^

    I should be shedding waaay more weight over the next two months and if that doesn't work I'll be doing another round of P90X, but next time I'm doing it Doubles style! I plan on being a goddess when all of this is through. *flex!*

    GW: 120 (trying to lose the pounds I gained after I stopped dancing)
    Height: 5'7"

    daily exercise routine (except Sunday):
    30 minutes elliptical
    weight training in order from legs-stomach-arms-back and treadmill in between to keep my heart rate up
    stretching
    30 minute stairmaster
    I am really trying to focus on getting my legs and butt back in shape and have just begun working out again.
    My challenges in my workouts are finding effective leg and butt exercises that are not hard on my knees.

    what I have eaten today:
    morning- one 90 calorie cereal bar, one medium low-fat vanilla latte
    snacks-7 saltine crackers, one 60 calorie low-carb blackberry yogurt, 1 medium green apple
    dinner-I will be having an apple cider dijon vinaigrette salad with cranberries and almonds and either half a skinless chicken breast or some salmon.
    My challenges in my diet are drinking more water and not completely pigging out on carbs when I have had too much to drink.

    Cool! I'll post. I made a group recently for my weight loss support (which is private so I can post progress pictures and stuff too), but this'll be good to keep my diet accountable.

    Today I will be eating:
    Brekky:
    1 peice ww toast
    1 egg scrambled with spinach, onion and tomato
    1 glass of orange juice (I really need to cut juice out of my diet, it's a huge crutch and there's so much sugar in it)

    1 coffee

    Lunch:
    4 oz chicken
    Spinach salad with onions, pineapple and red wine vinegar
    Few wheat thins

    Dinner:
    -Left over homemade curry (Coconut + rice milk, fish sauce, curry paste, brocalli, snap peas, kale, chicken, tomatos, red pepper, onion, tumeric, garic....really yummy!!! A small serving is about 250 calories, and it's so filling and comforting)
    -1/4 brown rice

    I'm thinking about switching my lunch and dinner foods around, becasue I eat lunch before I go to work, and always end up hungry during my shift. Perhaps it would be better to eat lighter before bed/in the evening.

    The easiest way to learn about it is to buy the book (I bought the cookbook, which has all the info and thensome), but it's pretty much just a no-nonsense diet that doesn't restrict your fat, calories, etc. It gives you a list of "Power Foods" that really help your metabolism kick into gear and when you mix it with an exercise program, the results are awesome!

    And yes, I dearly love it. The smoothie recipes are freakin' amazing!

    Lost some weight! 119.4

    Food to add from yesterday:
    -apple
    - 1/2 avocado with sunflower seeds and drizzle of honey
    - 3 corona light beer
    -glass of red wine
    -lots of brisket
    -piece of corn bread
    -couple bites from birthday cake
    -tons of grapes

    Todays Food:
    -coffee, 1 tbsp of french vanilla half and half, dollop of cool whip

    I am not sure as to whether I will work out today but hoping I could fit in at least my walk.

    OK I'm being bad today, fresh start tomorrow. I did run This morning for an hour, and ate oatmeal and blueberries for breakfast.

    Chicken noodle soup for early lunch

    I'm about to dig into some pasta Alfredo, which I shouldn't being as I had some earlier in the week.

    I will make better effort tomorrow
