    Default Your last big purchase

What are some things that you have bought recently that you haven't felt guilty about and have no regrets?

I often feel guilty about spending money because I guess I have "money issues" instead of "daddy issues". I haaaaate spending money because I'm not out of debt yet.

HOWEVER! I am moving to a new city and don't really have space or time to move my mattress. Besides, it's 10 years old and why not get a new one, right? My debt was paid down a lot and I haven't treated myself to anything in a while. I had a budget of 1500$ for the mattress. Of course, I went to the store and lay in a few beds. After feeling like Goldilocks (this one is too hard! This one is too soft!) the woman said "you know what? If you want comfort, I know what bed you're looking for..." I knew that she was going to lead me to the Tempurpedic space foam bed. I couldn't resist. I lay in it with my boyfriend and we cuddled (she said we could!) to get a feel for it. It took me about five seconds to know that this was MY bed. 2500$ later, I have the bed being delivered to my new apartment and absolutely cannot fucking wait to sleep in it. Seriously, I'm going to get to the apartment and have my x-pole, my tv, my bunnies, my new bed annnnnd. my bedding.

I also bought one of these for my bunnies to reward them for not dying while I haven't been at home for the last number of months. I miss them so hard and can't wait to be around them all the time again. So I have a new bed and they have a hot pink futuristic Sleepypod travel carrier:

now back to paying off my debt and buying furniture / moving mine to the new city piece by piece....

A 1997 Ford Thunderbird 4.6 litre LX - imported to the UK from Florida. Metallic burgundy with cream leather interior, and wide, 'cop car' style white-wall tires. I've always wanted an American rear wheel drive V8....and I had no qualms about persuading hubby to buy this one at all.

yep, my boyfriend had no problem helping me justify the bed at all. It has a 20 year warranty and apparently, since it will adjust to every bit of pressure you put on it, you can get toe-grips for traction while you have sex. I am so excited to sleep in it but know that it will be used for other things first

Commissioned a VERY large oil painting on linen canvas from an artist whom I'm pretty sure you all probably don't know his name, but can guarantee 99% of you have seen his work... especially since it's on television all the time. The painting was for someone whom I've really appreciated having in my life for a few years now. Granted this person is more like emotional support to me since I've seen them 1 time in two years... but still it was totally worth it! Plus, I can only come up with so many smaller "thank you" gifts after which I feel like I really need to return the favours in a bigger way.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

New central air con unit for my house which happened to go over this past week. Not something fun... but needed it.

$1200 dollars on a new floor for my bathroom, and another $1200 on a personal trainer. But both are needed.

    Mac book pro.

It's very hard for me to spend a large chunk of money at once but I have no issues spending a large amount in smaller transactions.

that's how I feel too. I have to remind myself that some things are investments and totally worth it.

My vacation home in FL. Added quite a few years to my retirement but I really enjoy going down there.

$4300 for invisalign. My teeth had shifted a little from not using my retainer when I was younger, and I am SO excited to have perfect teeth again!! Shelling out that much $$$ was rather painful though.

Where in FL FBR?! We need a house for our GT Vacay! Lmfao!!!!!!

I wish I could add a big purchase...but alas, I blow my money in small chunks and dont save up for the big stuff.

My boob fund did make it up to a little over 1k though, and then dwindled back down to 0 after I needed the funds for an emergency. Gotta keep at it....
