I think it would be equally prudent to take the opinion of guys who do not like lap dances. Especially, why they do not like dances.

^ Are you talking to me? If so, only one doing any crashing is you.
I've only been to clubs where there is contact grinding from a lapdance. But recently I've read about 'air' dances, that sounds sucky (no offense to any who do them), so my opinion is from that perspective.
What I like about them is they give some time to potentially get to know a girl in a little more private setting and when they sit on you it just plain feels good.
When I was younger I felt very awkward about them, I didn't know how to tip, I felt like I would be viewed as a perv (still kinda feel that way), I thought I was taking advantage of a girl and didn't want her to hate me, and I honestly didn't like having random sexual intimacies going on with someone I didn't know.
Now, I know to get to know someone better later or before, a dance, so I can at least get it out of the way to clear my mind and focus on the person, not just their body/faux(sometimes)-sexuality.

I wish I knew what I was doing...

But of course! I was getting to that!
I enjoy LD's and "the tease" because I enjoy interacting with beautiful members of the opposite sex in a playful and "No Strings attached" environment. Expensive? Well, that's relative. One should not indulge in forms of entertainment that one can not afford. If you can't afford strip clubs then don't go.

I generally like them when the LD is:
Mutually fun...I like girls who talk, moan and generally ACT like they're having as much fun as I am.
Unhurried and unrobotic....not hot if you follow precisely the same routine every time we LD.
Do not grind my D please. Thank you.

Actually, no it wouldn't. A guy that is predisposed towards disliking lapdances is probably not going to buy one regardless of what she does. Seems to me like she is looking to gain additional feedback from guys who are inclined to buy lapdances in order to better cater to them.
How is it like prostitution and how does it expose a lack of sophistication? I'm fascinated by these viewpoints. Really.![]()

I believe that it's like prostitution because his testicles have been injured in both situations.
Which says a lot, if you think about it.
But nothing flattering.

Lap dances you say? Why yes, I do enjoy those!
I'm someone who likes being teased, but in the good way, not the bad way.To put it briefly, if I have an erection and what you're doing feels good, that's good tease (and please may it go on for many sexy hours). If I'm unaroused, that's bad (i.e. boring) tease.
I don't get much enjoyment out of an air dance. It's not enough stimulation to get me going, so for me, it's 'bad tease.' There is one club near me that is an air dance club (with some very light contact) that I still go to. They have beer and food, and sometimes I enjoy the brief conversations I have. At this club I get a dance more as payment for her time spent chatting me up than because I think what the lady does is worth the $20.
Some men don't like what I would call 'good tease.' To them, the idea of being tied up and teased right to the edge of orgasm and kept in that intensely aroused state for hours without release is a nightmare, to me it's a hot fantasy. So keep that in mind when I talk of good tease. A hot lap dance that gets me all turned on and panting and desperate, well, that's a heckofalotta fun!
I suspect the guy who complained about it being a tease is either a guy like me at an air dance club, or a guy not like me at a contact club.

I think most customers like the tease. For me, I especially enjoy it when the dances are with a dancer that is new to me. Not knowing before hand what her style will be, how sensual she will dance, and how much touching will be involved, is a major turn on.
I'll never understand the whiners complaining about it being a "tease".
If you don't like the hustle - GTFO.

I just assume that the 'private dance' will be an improvement over whatever else I might get... This may be false, or may be true. I don't find out till I try.
Improvement can mean a lot of things, I DO NOT mean extras.

A private dance is a chance to spend some naughty time with a girl who may also be a really cool person.
A) Interesting new person
B) Boobies
C) Girl on your lap
Seems like a pretty fun way to spend some time. If I find a girl who chats me up about music, movies, or has interesting stories, it's likely I'll spend more time with her.
There is nothing unsophisticated about stripping or any other sexual profession. Not having a puritanical attitude has no bearing on a person's intelligence or anything else. If stripping wasn't complex, there wouldn't be so much discussion about it![]()

This may be the dumbest thing you've posted yet. Providence RI is a high contact city as far as LD's in the clubs go yet there are dozens of girls working in those clubs putting themselves through several Ivy League schools in the area.
There is no basis in fact for your comment.

There's a couple of ways to interpret the "tease" comment. One is a more cynical perspective, which is that while you are trying to steer the customer towards the private dance, he is trying to steer you towards making the dance, if he purchases one, into less of a "tease." The more positive spin is that it was a form of flirtation, having a little fun with you before he agrees to the dance.
Like someone said above, the primary reason most people buy private dances is the implication that the more private (and more expensive) dance will be much more intimate and more permissive, both in a physical sense and in the sense on the conversation and interaction with the dancer.

The first time I ever got a private dance she had to stand 3 feet away. I thought this was a waste and never went back then moved to another state and had a full contact dance I was much happier. I felt truly alone with her, it was very private and personal
