She was getting friends to sign up under her affiliate link and it would give her some crazy bonus and she'd give them their money back and then some off the bonus. They'd only get the one show or whatever and she did this with multiple people. ImLive caught on eventually because the last thing that site likes is people aside from them making money...and/or outsmarting them.

^ Ahhhh , yeah , But any affiliate company would ban you for doing this ... Most state in their TOS that incentive driven sign ups ( ie paying someone to join up ) are against the rules .... Genuinely promoting your own profile however , that's completely within the rules. What your friend did , was cheat![]()

I really like the ImLive forums, even though I don't read/post there as often as I used to. CS there is very strict, and you're not allowed to mention your earnings (like even if you just said "Yay! I made $100 today!," it's not allowed) or use profanity. I've been suspended from the forum in the past for using profanity, and I can't even remember what I said. I was probably venting about some customer and used the word 'asshole' or 'fuck' or something. Kinda strange that on an ADULT SEX SITE, we're not even allowed to use profanity when we're venting to each other, but whatever...lol.

I been suspended 3 days from working just by making comments in forums, u cant speak freely on that site, they censor models soo much, i hate them and the way forums are driven, i hate how some models kiss CS ass in there and brag about how great their traffic is, on the other hand negative comments are wiped out constantly. Not working there lately cause in december i got a $55 chargeback even they promoted No Chargebacks this whole month!! or so. Whatever!

Don't know if it's been mentioned in this thread already - I haven't read over the whole thing , but they claim to pay us 35% ( I'm a veteran ) , yet UK guys pay £1 per credit , of which we are paid 35% of 1$ per credit ... which really means if you have a UK guy in your room , you're paid less than 15% , depending on exchange rate... Of course if you bring this up in the forums there, you're banned![]()

I've always had great experience with their CS over the phone. I suppose it's because I always compliment them on their British accents? LOL. My issue is that I'm looking really slow and lagging horribly in chat and the guys are telling me this. I def missed a show as the guy told me "it's too bad you're really laggy..." I thanked him for telling me and asked that he check back at another time. I'm find on SM, fine on yahoo/skype/JCI but as soon as I go online on IML I'm laggy as fuck. I even turned off the HD and was slow. It's def not my super fast internet or my brand new crisp and HD logitech cam that's for sure.

Is any of you taking advantage of the No Chargeback campaign? the traffic has been great for me and having this security of no deductions at the end of the pay period is really working for me! however i wanted to do better, can anyone give me tips on how to get more members there?

The hot spot feature really helps, it puts you on every page. Happy hour helps, get in on the weekend parties, and dont give too much away in freechat! Yes, I enjoy the no cb thing, its nice not paniking on pay day.
Any recent information / updates on this site please? What I've read so far is not making me want to cam on it at all.

They are figuring out things just like all the other sites. what baffles me is that they don't offer check in the mail at all anymore.
other companies are able to offer check in the mail, but imlive is the only one that is all about "E-wallet" payments.
So I had to re-list the sites I split and imlive got moved to the bottom based on their recent payment methods. ifriends got bumped above them.

You know what, Imlive was my top secret money making site for years! I started working on sm, mfc, cb, all the tipping based sites...and I'm oldskool so I just don't have that tipping based site hustle. I recently signed up with imlive again (my hayday on the site was between 2008ish-2012) and have had a great experience! The site has really cool features that sites like sm and mfc simply dont. I mean its great that SM finally came up with a video store, but it is too little too late, and you cannot record the videos on site, cannot record sessions and resell them, it is just a pain in the ass. I am on a mission to #makeimlivegreatagain
In my hayday I was a top performer on IML and received several awards. My pre recorded shows were making me bank offline!
I always loved this site! I love the fact that you can set your room to pvt after the initial required free chat period is up. It is a great side site if you are working on another site like SM. I find imlive makes me more money than live chat/tipping based sites.
I wish there were more sites like IMLIVE rather than each new site that comes out being a tipping based site like mfc. Imlive is full of whales once you are established. All of my pvt shows average over 15 minutes at a time. To avoid hefty chargebacks, do not allow anyone to stay in your room longer than about 30 minutes until you have seen the customer will not do a cb or hasn't hacked the system. This is how I have avoided hundreds in chargebacks. It sucks to cut sessions short, but if you stay in a chat for longer than an hour and it is a cb, then you are out of time and money that you could have been doing shows that you will get paid for. I hate that pvt based sites have become a thing of the past, but I am very certain that now adult industry is being scrutinized more, that more regulations will pass when it comes to tipping based sites.
MFC and CB cover their asses stating that explicit content is not allowed in free chat, but the sites do not reprimand models who break the rules. Eventually, tipping based sites will have to police their own sites better because our industry is already under enough scrutiny. When this day comes, the clientele on these sites will be pissed that models can no longer do certain things in free chat and this business model is not sustainable due to this. This is just my humble opinion, but our industry has been under attack and it is only getting worse. It is time for all of us to step up and keep our privates in private! I am by no means hating on those who work on tipping based sites, but if these sites continue as-is...it will draw unnecessary attention from the powers that be.

Bumping this:
I am looking for another site like CamContacts since I got removed for being an American and I would love to stay in the friends plus romance section. I was in this type of section at Cam Contacts. Just was wondering if this section is an steady money maker for anyone?![]()

I am with ya on making imlivegreatagain. For me because I work 5 cam sites total plus niteflirt. my way of handling the blow of chargebacks is to make extra income. when you have enough income from camming, you don't fret over the chargebacks.
Plus I gotta worry about what fees checking cashing places will be taking, or a wire fee will take, or whatever e-wallet fee will take. So it's say to handle about $100 to $150 to handle cash backs. back when they were around camz now i think they are rude forgot a lot of companies change hands. rename themselves or become white labels of other websites.
They wouldn't pay you until you made $300 and $150 of that was to cover chargebacks.
the business of online in adult is chargebacks , you just have to make your cushion and roll with it.

I just joined this site, and it is confusing, and like ifriends - it's just so old looking that even though there seem to be a ton of fun features, it kind of looks like my computer threw up all over my screen.
Any advice on a few basics to start with on here?
Also the whole 'bronze' member thing is confusing too - I've had a few bronze guys take me in what appears to be private chat, but it's just been a regular chat session and they didn't even want a "show" per se. I wasn't even sure if I was being paid for this but I checked after and it said I was paid. Is that just part of this particular community? Also I kinda don't like that a few of them are going back and forth with me w/endless messages and then they never pay anyway... lol
