Nobody talks about LJ and I did money the first week, second week was awful. Is it that bad?

I've never worked for LJ but I heard that payments are usually delayed and inconsistent, so it doesn't really sound worth it to me. It's not based in the US, so I think payment usually takes like a month or more.

yeah i was super busy when I was .98 cents but after that...I think I got like one show and then I quit.

I did ok in the friendship section, averaged 10 an hour. I moved to the hot flirt category and it was about the same for me, so I tried the women section and did super well at .98, but then I was back to 10 or less! Plus, the guys on there are very rude and too many guests!

I wouldn't say no one makes money there though. There was this Irish girl that started there at the same time I was in the hot flirt category and she became super popular super fast! She made bank!

awwww well i started in the hot flirt section and I did awesome. Then I thought I could make more money in the full nude, but the only guys I got wanted just to talk. After the first payment It was like a ghost chat, so I decided to go back to hot flirt and it was worst.

With that site you have to bear in mind that there are soooo many girls online all the time!

What I noticed with the Irish is she managed to get in good with the VIP's. They have a forum where the guys chat about the girls. When I was there I only a had a few (about 2!) VIP's even come in my room and I didn't get to cam with any of them and I think this is why I never banked there. Most of the guys there with money never even knew I was there. Working LJ is like going to Cali to be a Hollywood star; you might be beautiful and talented, but it means nothing if you haven't been discovered.

You could stick it out and try to be "discovered". if you have a master account you can keep creating new accounts, so you are always new or even work 2 or 3 accounts at the same time. I guess that would depend on you and how you feel about the site in general.

I have been on LJ for 3 years... long ago... when they had the real model awards , not the cut throat, lets exchange members to get to top 10 one..Like all the sites, the studios and the under ground friendships between the models make the rules......
I will go back only if I am 100 % desperate and nothing works anymore...
I did make good money there when I was in top I remember 2-3 K for 2 weeks and I was charging 2.99 at a point and people were paying but eventually it went down hill that bad that I had to find something else....

yea i originally signed up with lj and webcams.com but webcams approved me real quick and lj just kept rejecting my license pic cuz the pic quality wasn't good enough (snapped it with my webcam cuz the scanned file was to big and didn't know how to shrink it) and i was just tired of jumping through they're stupid hoops so i just let it go. i didn't want to wait a month to get paid anyway.

i do well on lj. but i have insider help honestly. i know someone who's good with the owners. i'm #1 in ebony and most days make decent money and pvts. from VIPs. I'm new to camming so $500-800/wk is good to me. plus i cam in mornings only due to school schedule. my rates are $2.99 and $3.99-2way audio.

This is how it works?

My uncle knows the site recruiters. He lets them know what girls he's acquainted with and they make sure to get the Top members to visit you..top members take you pvt and rate you..you get ratings and are entered into the 69 Team(top girls on site) you get exposure and a bonus (I'm #1 in ebony catagory and that is $100 more at the end of the pay period). i try to be but I have school at night. only work mornings. Today was crazy busy. PVTs from the time I signed in and had to break just to get a breather! Yea, I lucked up and I try to help others if I can. I'm not greedy. If I take a break, I tell the guys my fav girls to visit while I'm gone.
