fresh vegetable juice plus something like spirulina tabs or raw honey on apples to make sure i'll have energy throughout my shift. another favorite of mine is cacao powder mixed with raw honey, chunky peanut butter and oats- like a superfood no-bake cookie! a couple of chocolatey bites and i'm set for the evening![]()

I eat a serving of chicken, fish, or a veggie burger, and some sorts of veggies, like steamed broccoli and carrots dipped in ranch, or sauteed spinach and sweet potatoes. Sometimes protein enriched pasta with homemade tomato sauce. Basically, a normal dinner. I eat about an hour before I clock in to work.
When I get home, I'll have some fruit and then sleep.

I try not to eat much before work. Jerky and Clif bars are a godsend if I start feeling woozy -- I'm hyperglycemic, so I *have* to eat or I get the cold sweats. Anything with protein seems to stick pretty well for most of my shift.
I LOVE sushi, but I'm always hungry again an hour after I eat it.
I used to eat at least one hour before going into work and I would usually have sushi or shrimp cocktail and salad with some type of nut (usually almonds). I drank water throughout the night and it kept me from getting hungry during my shift.



Not sure if you have a Fresh and Easy were you live, but I always eat the frozen Fresh and Easy brand Eat Well meals. Usually I'll eat the Tortilla encrusted fish with rice, or the beef stroganaff, or the spahgetti with meatballs.



Oh yes forgot Almonds, the Raw kind, Flaxseed crackers with red pepper hummus![]()
Buckwheat Groats (cooked), 2 Eggs, Spinach and Chia Seeds all scrambled with a splash of EVOO will keep me going for hours and is my favourite thing at the moment! - I usually take some almonds or other nuts with me too.
Moments like this make me want to hug the Internet and say "thank you." Lestat***sometimes it's what's on the outside that counts, too***I know I have a great relationship. But it'd be more great-er if I let him stick it up my butt more! Sunday Morning
