I couldn't find a whole lot of new posts on this-has anyone tried it? Did you like it? Did you see results? I'm pretty fit and toned, but I would like to tone up even more. The infomercial almost sold me, lol, great sales people.

Out of boredom, I did it wiht an old roommate.
I had no results and mostly found the whole thing to be boring. For me it was one of those "Boy, I'm really out of breath for my body not being tired AT ALL" deals.
I swapped it out with one of my other cardio workouts that I was doing at the time (2 a day)... and at the end of it all I found my race times (for 5ks) had completely gone to shit. WORSE than if I hadn't done anything at all for 90 days.
I did one of the random workouts few days ago... it was Good!
like any other program, u have to stick with it, u cant just do one and be like" nah, this is not working.."
you should try it...

A fellow dancer friend did the full program. She cut btw 10 and 15 lbs of fat and added shape and definition to her body. She is 5'2" and was around 130 or so when she started. She added running w/ her pitbull puppy as cardio.
She gave me the program for my b-day last month. I haven't started it yet, but I think I will when I go on vacay next week.
I wish I had before and afters of her because it really made a difference. She also changed her way of eating as well. She was really addicted to sugar.

Wow Corey, that sounds great! I can't believe she added running on top of it all. I think I will try.

eh I don't know. I'm always skeptical of any weight loss/fitness product I see on tv ten thousand times with 400 testimonials. give it a shot if you want, but don't expect miracles.

I did the first week of it and found it to be super boring. I didn't like that it was mostly cardio based with very little strength training. Yeah it kicked my ass but I had to force myself to do it every day and I like working out usually. As far as results I didn't stick with it long enough.

I found it fairly challenging, but it hurt my knees. I had to take long breaks in between the workouts--like 3 or 4 days--and was in a bit of pain. I only made it through 2 weeks by the chart (which means I struggled with it for a couple of months.)
I don't run because of my knees, and I didn't realize how much jumping and high-impact cardio was involved in it. OTOH, I liked the trainer.

I've done it plenty but I can't say it does anything that a less complicated workout wouldn't do. It all depends on what you like in a workout.
If you like over complicated things, then insanity is for you.
If you just want the results, then do basic arm, leg, and core workouts and you will get the same results a lot easier. Aka pushups, leg lifts/flutter kicks/situps, and running a few times a week.
I personally just think insanity was a little too much going on at once for me lol.

Coleen- That was my concern as well. I go for a run every now and then, but I could never make it a staple of my work out because I want to protect my knees too.
