    Default sleeping schedule?

what's your sleeping schedule like if you work night shift?

is it the same on your days off?

    do you take sleep aids?

I have a hard time sleeping during the day I usually wake up around 7-8am naturally even if I go to bed at 4am. it's making me really tired and I find it hard to work more than 3 days a week.

eta: does anyone wake up, get all their stuff done (cleaning, laundry, gym, shopping), and then go back to sleep and then wake up and go to work??

I didn't used to take sleep aides, but I used to always be really tired. Now the doctor has me on these pills & I literally if I don't take unisome I can go 3 days without sleeping. I'll get tired/irritable in the early morning but won't be able to sleep. Then I'll eat something, re-energize, & be up all night again. Anyhow, if I'm not working I sleep until about 11:30 am. If I am working I sleep until about 2pm.
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Mine's been so messed up since I started dancing.... and I'm going back to school soon.

Sun-Wed: wake up whenever i do without my alarm clock... usually around 11am
Thurs-Fri: wake up at 4pm- sleep at 5-6am

.. and I get to see the daylight on my days off or when I need t walk my dog!

With having 2 little kids, work and a husband..... I am lucky if I get to bed by 2am. I usually go to bed around 3am and wake up at 7:45am every other day. My husband and I take turns waking up with our kids.

On days I work, I am asleep by 3-6am and wake up around 1pm. On days I don't work, I go to sleep around 10-midnight and am up around 9am.

On saturday nights, Ill normally take some form of melatonin. They have these drinks out now that are like dream shots-the anti-5 hour energy shot and those are cool. I also wear an eyemask and earplugs. The earplugs are HUGE for me, as I have extremely good hearing and am sensitive to sounds. The eyemask, not so much but it helps as well.

My work hours change from club to club, but it's always night. So i generally sleep until 12 or 1pm, or later if I work until 7am. It completely screws my days up but I don't nap so I spend a lot of time monged out on my sofa.
On my day/s off I can usually sleep earlier, especially if I've been drinking, but then my body goes into hibernation mode and I usually sleep 12-16 hours. I wake feeling more refreshed but it feels like even more if a waste.
I've tried taking sleeping pills (donormyl) but they make me groggy the next day. I find anti-histamines or flu tablets designed for night time send me off to sleep with no adverse effects the next day, but they're expensive and I only use them if I have to be up early the next day or u have noisy neighbours.
