I work in a pretty nice club in Auckland, New Zealand and in most ways its a fantastic club to work at, except that the way the lapdances are set up make it really hard to sell!! I see all the other girls on SW can sell a song for $20 and then try upsell more songs or go to VIP for blocks of time, but here in NZ we only have the option of selling blocks of time. It looks like this, we get 50% of these prices:
10 mins $50
15 mins $80
20 mins $100
30 mins $130
45 mins $180
hour VIP $250
30 min shower show $200
So as you can see our lowest price is $50, this is a big difference from being able to throw out $20 as a base price which is easier for the customer to swallow. Most ppl just see a minimum $50 price tag and say straight away 'oh thats way too much money'. Its hard to get people in the lapdance room when the shortest dance costs quite a bit to begin with, and these prices dont reflect the average wage in NZ at all, most people here only earn about $10 - $15 an hour so $50 is most of a days work!! How do I get around this? Does anyone have any advice or is anyone in a similar situation and have found a way to make this work?
