I'm creating this thread here in Camming Connection because at this point I have zero interest in reading about the thoughts of men who don't think much of us. We have to fight.

80 percent of Americans are for abortion rights, but it is the Supreme Court which is a life time appointment. Which makes us powerless, to fight back as easily.

Texas makes even having a miscarriage illegal. And I can't help but think of how many abusers who force pregnancy upon a woman. How the violence does exculate and these men will beat her until she loses the baby & then has her put in prison. It is pure cruelty.

We have to vote on every level of gov. Local police sheriff should be replaced often till one that makes sure every rape kit is tested & that more than the current 10% of rapes is investigated & more than the 1% of rape convictions has increased. We need men who stalk & commit domestic violence are put in jail more. Since we do not have equal protection put into practice. Vote them all out till we do.

Vote all against abortion on every level of gov are out of office. By making abortion a criminal act, and how anyone with a felony is denied the ability to vote in too many States. We should fight for everyone's ability to vote. 20% of pregnancies end with a miscarriage, make that a felony and then a growing number of women will lose their ability to vote for a lifetime. Taking away women's Equality in one easy sweep within the next 50 years. See these people are evil.

80 percent of Americans are for abortion rights, but it is the Supreme Court which is a life time appointment. Which makes us powerless, on a State level we can vote those against those who don't uphold women's rights. But I can see the long term plans, when 20 percent of pregnancies are miscarried. In Texas, you can get a longer jail sentence than a rapist. Which a certain percentage of women will lose their ability to vote since they have been convicted of a crime.

We have to turn out & vote people out of office that uphold women's rights. These people are playing the long game. We have to vote on local levels for police to do their jobs & investigate all rapes since only 10% are investigate currently. We need equal protection under the law from stalkers, domestic abuse too. Our voices & votes need to happen on all levels, just not the Supreme Court levels.

This is scary but we cannot do anything. The SCOTUS decides and we get to voice opinions. However, in the leaked papers it is showing a key justice is not wanting to deviate from the pre existing law. In fact what the juatices have said is that Roe has been based on viability and their job is to uphold the law, bot get involved in politics.

You ca check it on NPR. I liatened to it. It seems, the SCOTUS may uphold it. I would stay away from the media around it for peace of mind. This is not a new thing women deal with. We are always dealing with it.

There has already been a leak which is a paper written by a Jistice basically saying they won't overturn it. It was leaked on purpose by I am sure powerful people.

My source on this matter has been NPR which, is a good reporting agency, I started using it in college as all of my profs did. So if you don't use NPR I high recommend for anything.

The thing is, I am 40 and I cried hearing a woman of my age talk about how she would have an abortion at 40. I have had a baby and it is dangerous for older women, and I understand. But for whatever reason, a woman has a right.

The silver lining is we have been trying to pass these illegal laws at state levels to force a revisit. The Justices have in large said Roe has already been decided on viability. The medical community does not consider that a human and it has been the law of the land. Even the female Trump put in said that while she is pro life she has been sworn to uphold law, and not decide social issues. And mentioned, again, it has been the law of the land.

We need to be here, if it is upheld great. If not, then women all over the USA will likely vote in a frenzy against those politicians who are pro life. The proactive thing i think women should do is stay calm and share a story as to why abortion rights ARE important to them. We need to be seen as individuals with our own lives, not a group of stark raving mad womwn who use it as birth control - what theh have used to describe a pro choice woman.

Hearing married women, mothers, those with illness say, hey, if my BC failed this is how bad my and my childs life would be. I could die! It helps. I almosy died and so did my mother 40 years ago. She was 40 (my age) and her body could NOT give birth to me due to age. I was born with pneumonia and they cut het open before they could even get the drape over her. My family was informed we were likely going to both die. Stories like these are important.

These are reasons the SCOTUS is weighing in. It is absurd and it is confidential medical info. Do they want to treat women seeking abortions as some terrorist on a watch list. Oh I say definitely do what you can in those states these horrible laws have passed, but these are unconstitutional things. They passed these to BE unconstitutional...to force the SCOTUS to revist Roe.

Yeah I say women need to keep things away from digital and be hush about it. But while women have a hiatory of getting trampled on, we also have a history of winning, of thinking outside boxes. I hate to sound all tinfoil hat, but in addition to practices like deleting period trackers and using cash to travel, we need to think about ways to maintain privacy in the analog world. I remember bookmarking several articles about defeating facial recognition and camera surveillance, but one thing I found very interesting was a study done indicating that contouring makeup could trick facial recognition. You can read the study here if you want, but it's pretty simple. I was happy that normal contouring could be used, because if anyone's seen that dazzle makeup, that's extremely conspicuous in my opinion.

it could be now till end of June. That’s when the current SC session ends. It is overturned. Congress needs to break filibuster and pass legislation at this point.

Another recommendation I can give is don’t rsvp to any protests you see online regardless of your actual attendance.
