Holy shit this morning is TOUGH!

Seriously. I've made $5 so far. This is ridiculous.

This. I totally understand recessions and high gas/petrol but I can't say that it's ever stopped most guys from spending on porn. Addicts and needing to release stress has always trumped lack of funds imho. Also, when one can't spend, here comes 5 others. Sure, we feel pinches here or there but I feel like changing visuals usually spark more spending. I also know its been proven that even us Women spend more on beauty during the dry times subconsciously to attract financial help from Men going back to switching things up visually with ourselves. (Lipstick colors, new hair, new tits, new hot hot pics, etc). They love skeeting that stress out.

They spend like there is no recession plenty of times in my 14 yrs in this bizz. The money in 2008/2009 during the housing crash was one of the most highest earned years under my belt and it wasn't even hard.

This! Been camming full time since 2001 supporting myself and 3 children with no alimony or child support (they're adults now). Recession? What's that? My hourly rate has stayed the same 12 years on SM. The few times I was able to take a couple of months off, I returned on page 3 or 4 and worked back onto the 1st page within a few weeks. Less than 5000 have favorited me and I don't use toys, costumes or props of any kind, never insert anything into any hole, or show my face. I just can't wrap my head around people who struggle to make money at this. It's like taking candy from a baby! Camming is completely consistent for me, always has been including shitty days here and there where nothing works to get business. Busiest day for me was the day after Trump was elected.

I'd love to help others succeed at this but idk how to. Just be yourself and you will attract enough good clients even if they are few and far between. If things get slow/boring, like kortneykay said, it's on ME to spice things up. I just put $100 into upping my sound quality and WOW, my clients have noticed and left reviews!

Let's face it, most people who frequent SM can't get what they want in real life and/because they are insensitive, thoughtless, self-entitled jerks OR they are mind-numbingly boring with zero personality, creativity, or manners. Same as it is with most jobs/people ime. I may cringe when 80% of them enter my chatroom but that 20% make it all worthwhile. For shows that end with the member actually saying thank you. My standard and honest response is, "It was my pleasure."

Unfortunately, the new Stream.Fans will be an entire separate platform from SM. You won’t be able to promote your page while online on SM and there is no connecting between accounts, so your customers can’t join you there also.

Basically, they are offering an alternative to OF, but without any benefits from SM. Which in my POV is useless. If I have to market myself 12h out of 24h, you bet I will pick the platform with most notoriety. I knew there had to be a catch for their 80%. Pity! I’ll stick with OF and Fansly.

I was whitelisted and already have a subscriber without promoting it shows up in my earnings as streamfans, have no idea how he found me, or why the payments, let alone his account info would be combined if it's completely separate.

The activity feed reminded me a lot of only fans so i wondered if they might just take the activity feed and make it into the streamfans. seems like they would but who knows

i see your profile but it says you are offline right now

customers can see you offline and online it really depends what they are searching for but they are far more likely to see when you are streaming live.

It looks like they are pulling the paid messaging, fan club and activity feed into being streamfans. It's really in a weird test mode right now though.

I'd love to know what you did to improve your sound quality if you don't mind sharing! I've been wanting to do the same for some time now, just don't want to waste money on anything unnecessary.

Are you able to log directly into the Streamfans site yet? I can log in but it just takes me right to my Streamate dashboard. Maybe they are going to add a streamfans item in the dashboard so we can control it from there.

I'm guessing they will be adding us all in soon but I'm getting so curious!

Same here. Probably they are still beta testing it and working out bugs before they open it up to all of us.
