I was in the top 100 I think and I didnt have an amazing day. Just sort of an average day. You were probably right on the verge of getting in the top 500

same, and I really don’t know why with DD, checks are often a mess around the holidays but this should be fairly automated. I was worried when it wasn’t showing up in payment history until way later then usual on Wednesday. Unless it randomly pops up I’m not expecting to see that until Monday. Hopefully not because this was a careless mistake that really shouldn’t happen.

Same. I assumed it had something to do with the bank and the fact that the DD hit on a federal holiday.

yeah but the people responsible for DD knew that. The financial institutions send out emails to all companies with reminders about this stuff. I’m not surprised this happened but the banks are pretty clear on this stuff.

Really? I’ve never dealt with anyone sending me DDs that did payroll early so that stuff would be cleared before federal holidays, it’s always been that they sent it when they’re supposed to and when it actually got my account was up to my banks, and long holidays meant long delays.

yeah I had to do it all the time when I worked in HR. It’s not so much early as they already are on the deadline by issuing payment on Wednesdays. They cut it close to the deadline before the weekend every week. Holidays mess with it every year and companies know to adjust or worst case warn employees of this, but we are not employees so they have no obligation to inform us of any of this or to fix the mistake.

For reference when I was responsible for this I would try to have all the hours set to be distributed by like Tuesday morning, some employees would mess this up and I would have to input them last minute to get the deadline. Most companies do use a Wednesday after pay period cut off, but ideally you are striving to not release last minute. On holiday weeks you have to work harder to dedicate more of your work day to getting them in so employees get paid on time. I have complimented them previously on getting this done on other holiday weeks so they are capable.

I'm guessing it will appear on Monday but definitely didn't expect a delay due to the way they paid early or on time in the past. Maybe they are having difficulties adjusting to people in their accounting offices working from home.

Lots of people probably on vacation even in the times of covid, all the bonus prizes doesn't make it easy either. Accounting has no say in when they run these contests I would bet money on that.

yep. i get direct deposit with etrade every friday by usually 5 am eastern time and i didnt receive mine as well this week.
maybe by monday it will arrive.
its fine with me, but a heads up would have been nice as i am sure so many people are depending on those funds. especially with the holiday.
or so many of us might be calling our banks worried.

I’ve been asked that before, not in relation to a contest though. Had he spent anything? If not I’d just tell him he’s a nosy fucker. When I was asked, it was by a guy who spends so I just gave a vague answer. I think he was just trying to make conversation. Yours doesn’t sound like that though.

Not showing up logged out for the first stream. Restarted stream and still couldn't be found, but I got a show. Logged into my member account and I'm where I usually am, but logged out I wasn't showing up on the first 3 pages. Restarted stream again and found myself logged out 2 rows lower than yesterday's placement.

I know I haven't made as much as I can with almost 40 hrs streamed, but to drop 2 rows in less than 24 hrs just bugs me a bit. If it wasn't for my member account I'd be discouraged.

Placement is such a pain and totally confusing.
