Anyone notice how gaslighty and condescending SM support is when replying to an issue days later? Every time I have issues it takes 2-4 days to hear back. During that time the issue is fixed but SM will pretend there was never an issue, mansplain things to you, then say things like "Well your account is showing 5 stars, or well the balance on your account appears to be normal." Ummm no shit, Robin. It wasn't normal when I messaged you otherwise you wouldn't have gotten a message. You fixed it. That's why it appears normal and youre 4 days late. I can see that its fixed so what's the point of gaslighting me? Just say "We fixed your issue." Not pretending it never happened and I'm somehow acting like I'm imagining shit.

They were unbelievably snotty with me a couple of weeks back. I had to report a user and I forgot to add his user ID to the email, so I sent a second email apologising and added the user ID to the report. There’s a tonne of James/Jason/whatever genetic name it was so I guessed the report might be useless without.
I got a very snarky email back telling me to stop sending multiple emails about the same issue, especially minutes apart and reporting something over and over doesn’t mean my issue will be sorted out any faster and slows down the reporting system for everyone, myself included.
I didn’t want anything resolving as such, it didn’t even require any sort of response tbh. It was just a report.
I can’t actually remember when I last emailed into support before that tbh so it’s not like I’m a serial complainer and they got sick of me or something.



A few Sundays ago quite a few posts on here about being disconnected, I experienced same, reported to Liz who reported to technical. Technical response through Liz was nothing seemed wrong, they said I usually disconnect every half hour could not see any unusual disconnects and that because I'd stayed on for 90 minutes the day before the response (this is 4 days after the Sunday) everything must be back to normal.
Anyhow new schedule thing likely won't work for me because I adjust it all the time around my other work commitments including appointments, bookings, private work. The automatic schedule will likely mislead but never mind.
Yesterday widespread internet outage in my part of the country threw me off after half an hour, was off for 4 hours my main chance day to stream this week. Some households have been off over 24 hours now, I have been quite lucky. I made a video instead, took some photos and my first Tik Tok. Quite stressful it affected other things I do and I've a few other things gone wrong in last 48 hours. I actually took Monday off everything but that's when a few things went wrong - a lot went right though including great results from a scale and air polish on my teeth but that's self car & maintenance.
Might get an hour or two in before weekend but that's me for the week until next week.
When I mentioned, "Not sure if I am supposed to contact the general SM support email or [email protected] but here is the issue..." I did get a snarky response saying, "We are helping you here. You don't need to mention you also contacted SM support..." Umm what? Ok... I guess it's a hot button topic or something.
I am getting a TON of private messages with phone numbers. I can block a member from messaging me but I can't delete their PM. How do I report the member for giving out contact information from the PM screen? Is it even worth it? I don't want to have to go to 3+ screens to report these members if it honestly doesn't do anything.

Reading about how rude support is makes me never want to reach out. The few times I've reached out for a problem, it was always to Liz who is very helpful. Its like the support team resents the people who are making them money, really bizarre.
Maybe if they communicated with us about site issues instead of leaving us in the dark, they wouldn't be so bothered by our unnecessary and annoying emails! /s



probably as this summer will be full back to normal, no covid anymore and people going to party more... travel more... spend more IMO, changed my hrs and working till 5am it works better. however i keep do some afternoon shift. summer is maybe a late night traffic?! but married people still coming to visit us while their working??? so so...
Yeah honestly trying to figure out the best traffic times atm is stressing me out! I've been doing late-night the past few weeks, which is what I did last summer, but beyond regs I've got near zero paying traffic atm. Decent amount of potentials but my conversion rate is In The Gutter.
I might switch back to evenings but those seem slow too & honestly it would be nice to enjoy the sunlight and not work until it's dark. My sleep schedule is messed up enough that I'm never even awake in the mornings lol
I think all the dudes are broke currently too :/
