I got a notification on my dashboard that my ID needed to be updated. So I submitted my current ID. It's been "pending review" for over a week now![]()

A lot of us had this happen..email [email protected]. to take care of it.
Based on other threads: Am I the only one who's actually kinda excited to be dressing the room a bit and putting on a sexy santa apron tomorrow? Is everyone else seriously that grownup?![]()
I don't mind talking so much as being spoken to. And I don't mind being spoken to all that much, when the one speaking has a brain.

Dont know how i missed to see the messages about being paid on the 25th but i just found out today i had the money sitting in my Payoneer account waiting to be cashed, yay!! It's ok still, just cashed them here, my account was loaded late than normal hrs and it fell on thursday nite my time that's why i overseen the email from payoneer who came in pretty late too. Two diff times I decorated my whole room. One time at christmas, one time for my "birthday" (<- 30+balloons hanging everywher and a big happy birthday sign and my age writtin on the balloons next to it)
Noone noticed!
I had to point it out for them and than they were like "oh yeaaah now that you say so, I as to distracted looking at *insert body part here*"
So after that I gave up on decorating. I do think the contest itself is silly, costumecontest= smart, decoratingroom contest= who cares. The guys are there for us, not for oure rooms as I found out years ago. They are guys after all

Also.. I have to admitt I would have joined in IF i woudnt have thrown away almost all my old (also decorating) stuff when I moved into my new apartment. SO that means I have to spend money to participate in the contest... cant and dont want to right now.. Gotta take care of my bills first & christmas is coming..

Does anyone know how the SMbroadcaster compares to the FMLE in terms of cpu usage? I just remembered that I have a brand new c920 stashed away for emergencies (the last time my cam died, it was at a very inopportune moment, so I like having a spare), so that negates the issue of not being able to splitcam. But if it negatively affects my cpu, I will stick with the FMLE and my beloved VerySoft.
Also, I always think of FMLE as "fuck my life encoder."Anyone else?

As a model on streamate you are an independent contractor and responsible for your own taxes, so we don't send you a form - you can view your earnings report in your account at any time. To view the earnings for your account, log into your account and go to "My reports". From there you will see the earnings report and can view earnings by week.
We do however send 1099's at the end of the year.
Please let us know if you have any further question
Wtf I didnt even ask about earning or income, I just need a letter again stating that I am employed with them. Anyone know someone I can contact directly to get this letter?

I'm not trying to be rude by saying this, but they really shouldn't give you a letter of employment because you aren't an employee. It can be rather dangerous for them to hand out statements saying that cam girls are employees, because then they could be held accountable for normal things that employers are obligated to do, such as ensure that you make minimum wage and are compensated for overtime, and that they are compliant with OSHA and the Americans with Disabilities Act, etc.

Depending who is asking for the information, let them know that you're self employed, and ask what you can do to verify that. Usually your tax return will be sufficient proof.

Nobody tipped.. very few said Happy Birthday...nobody cared. Oh well.

The email address Blovely gave is correct.
As for verification, yeah, SM isn't require to give you a letter of employment, however in your case you aren't asking for verification of employment, but verification of income, which I know Liz will provide if you ask nicely. It's legit just a letter that says 'so and so is an independent contractor for me. In the 2015 calendar year to date, she has made $XX,XXX income.' If you're doing it for a rental or what not, that'll do. That said, depending on who/what you need verification for, your 1099 come late January to early February or last year's tax returns should also be considered sufficient assuming you made roughly the same amount and were working for them back then as well.
When it's your first year working as a camgirl, the whole tax return strategy won't fly because it's not self-employed income you can show and a lot of places won't accept a copy of your deposit records. Sometimes they'll take copies of your paychecks (assuming you get those), but otherwise a verification of income letter from Liz is your only option during year one.
Welp, guys thought the contest was stupid. Shocking.
