I usually bring one spare outfit, but I rarely change into it. I have it there mainly as a back-up, just in case something gets spilled on me or something.
Every once in a while, I'll change my outfit mid-shift as a way to re-energize myself if I'm in a rut of rejection-after-rejection (you know - the whole take abreak, freshen makeup, change your outfit trick).
Mostly I just work the whole shift using one outfit though.

If the one outfit I have on is consistently making me money on a particular night I'm not going to take it off because altered customers have limited memory and I want them not to forgot. Signature jewelry works similarly but not as effectively. When I've been doing a lot of dances and working hard I tend to change my bottoms when I change outfits which is every 3 hours or so. I sweat a lot because I am a hard stage worker so whether I change outfits or not the bottoms get changed like every 2 to 3 hours.
I've watched girls walk around all night in same outfit and same panties and see them sweating all every where leaving wet spots on chairs in dr, etc. and then hear them complain they can't sell a dance. Maybe because your outfit smells and so do you. Baby wipes can absorb some perspiration and make you smell fresh. Some things baby wipes can't fix.....like reactivated vagina sweat from 5 hours ago that is on that one thong you will not change.
Sometimes a change of outfit can attract a different type of customer because you are adopting a new persona with the change. I don't think that matters as much as staying fresh and clean smelling. If an outfit isn't working for you then changing can help change your mood and outlook. Just don't be that girl who spends half the nite in the dressing room constantly changing outfits because you are not making money. That girls needs confidence not new clothes.
Thank Goodness I smartened up! The old me is dead and gone.
I have 2-4 outfits with me that I change into throughout the shift. Our stage shows are set up so you do 2 songs, a break song, and then a third song, so I (and most other girls) like to switch up the outfit for the last song. I also like to change outfits when I feel like I'm in a rut or just to perk up my mood a bit. Also if the crowd changes a lot. With a younger crowd, I tend to do 2-piece skirt sets, and dresses with an older crowd. Also depends on my mood. But yeah, I'd say I switch it up a fair bit within a shift. I think it's a nice way to stand out to customers who may have passed over me before. I also have a pretty distinct look, so changing my outfit isn't going to make me unrecognizable to customers who were already interested in me.

At my old club, our manager tried to "lecture" us on changing our outfits often. He wanted us to change them as much as possible because, in his words, if he were to see a girl walking around in the same outfit all night, he would think she was really lazy.... whatever....I never changed my outfit throughout the night unless I found out that a customer was really into a particular type of outfit that I had but wasn't wearing (like camo, white panties, or schoolgirl), then I would go change for him. There was one girl who changed after every single set - but there was also another girl who wore the exact same top, skirt, and shoes every night and I don't think either way affected their money any. I honestly don't think customers care (screw what my manager said) so I think if you want to change it up and feel confident doing so, go for it. Otherwise, I don't find it necessary... I think it just takes time away from the floor and could make it harder to recognize you in the bad lighting.

I change at least once during my shift, usually four hours in. Today it was a great move. What I was wearing the first four hours was not working for me, when I came out of the dressing room in my new Victoria's Secret french maid outfitI had a line of guys wanting to talk to me...

Yes, this is the case. I don't change my outfit unless something is actually wrong with it. People are too easy to confuse... especially in bigger clubs. Sometimes you'll see a girl perform on-stage & think "that's the one I want a dance from", but then you don't recognize her the rest of the night when she keeps changing outfits. I see that happen a lot, & I've seen it happen when I was out with male friends.
If its a small club & the manager asks you to change outfits, they are probably trying to get customers to think they have more girls than they really have.
Some girls think that changing outfits also helps them score more dances with drunk customers. They sell them dances in one outfit, go back 20 minutes later in another outfit & sell more dances. That's well & fine, but I generally don't like dealing with drunk people.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I usually only change if I'm having a good night. If I hit a certain time and I'm not making decent money I'll change to just try something else. I usually wear gowns but i'll keep a school girl outfit around as a sort of secret weapon. Whatever works!
Yes, I typically change at least one or two times over the course of a shift. Keeps things fresh and guys guessing!

I think it depends on the size of the club. If you're working in Vegas, then it's in your benefit to be recognizable, because 1. there's so many girls 2. your stage dancing frequency is much less (if at all).
In a smaller club, where there's anywhere from 10-30 girls, then I'd go with changing outfits. After a couple times on stage, the guys can start to get bored if they see the same thing rehashed over and over. But if you're really busy, and don't have time, then money > changing outfits.
I don't think I've ever changed outfits during a shift. Some girls that I work with will change often, but I don't see it affecting their money. I think it's more of a mental boost to them than anything.
In my club I find that it's either stupidly dead in the club (changing outfits won't make a difference in earning potential), or it's decent and I'm too busy hustling and making money to waste time changing outfits.

My club has a rule we have to change outfits 3 times a night. If I don't the house mum will hunt me down to get changed.
I like changing anyway, it makes you look, new, fresh, and helps to mix things up abit if you're having a slow night.
I rarely change at all during the night, unless I'm really having a crappy night and I think a new outfit might help, or something got spilled on it etc. I always pack one outfit to wear (and I decide which one before I leave the house) and then a spare one in case I needed it. But I usually just wear the same thing for my whole shift - most girls at my club do that, and so it means guys can identify who's who.

We're required to change our outfits every set at pumptown but I get around that rule by only changing the skirt/shirt etc![]()

IN 1 of the places i work we have to change after every set , in the other place I bring a dress and a 2 piece set and sometimes change depending on the crowd.

I only change if I'm in a rut or my outfit gets something spilled on it. I see some girls changing 5 times in a shift but they always end up in the same thing at the end if every night so I dont see why they dont just wear that all night.
I keep spares if everything, especially thongs, but since my outfits have very little effect on my hustle, and I only buy things I like, I don't see the point in wearing everything in one night.

I may change outfits if Im not making any money or get sweaty or dance for someone who stinks and it rubs off on me. Otherwise, I stay in the same outfit. I always keep my jewelry the same, though.

I don't ever change unless someone who looks similar to me but gives shit dances or doesn't make much money puts on the same/similar outfit.
...because then customers will think that *I'M* the loser who has been sitting in the corner for the past 2 hours not doing any dances and THEY won't want a dance either.
When I was a baby stripper I'd change outfits & hairstyles multiple times per night but now I stick with just one outfit for the entire shift. Of course, if my first choice is simply not 'working' or becomes dirty I'll change into a backup outfit. I know these things depend on the club, but changing frequently makes little to no difference at my venue.
Once I went about 6 weeks wearing the exact same dress for every shift (I know, I know, we all hate that girl!) and it made absolutely no difference to my earnings.

My outfits are usually just XXL tshirts. So comfy. After stage though I am usually burning up so I'll ditch the shirt and wear a bra/panty set until I cool down a little bit--then back into my tshirt I go.
I can see why girls change alot though--this job is a great opportunity to dress up as much as you want to=)

i'll change my outfit once halfway thru the night. i'm just not a sweaty person, but i try not to wear an outfit similar to what another girl is wearing
I mainly do dresses, but i'll switch it up twice during my shift. I'm not a huge fan of skirt sets or short sets, same with gowns.
