FFS, just checked my Twitter feed, looks like I've been spamming myself lol. Every Time I've had to reconnect AW Tweet that I'm online. 85 times I've had to reconnect today!!

Weird stuff occurring on AW today but nothing to do with the new broadcaster. Up until yesterday my cam facility fees were 6%, having gone up in November from the original 5%. Checking today's cam earnings and the cam facility fee is back to 5%.

Not only that, when I went to set my positioning prices for tomorrow, there was no pop up box to tell me about the VAT. I'll be checking tomorrow to see what I've been charged. Every little helps as they say!

YIPPEE! Not only has VAT gone from the cam facility fee AND positioning costs, it's also gone from the admin fee!!! When I try to withdraw now I'm back to a 30 / 70 split instead of 36 / 64!

Not had any emails about this? IGNORE THIS IT WAS A SHORT LIVED FANTASY

In other news, I found today that even though I have sound muted through AW for free chat, it wasn't muted on the broadcaster and I had to do it manually. Luckily I'd not been on too long.

I bet we'll get a refund now like last time.

Probably not had any notification because the accounts people will be on holiday.

OK so now it's back to as it was

Everything I mentioned above is now showing with the VAT back on. I've done shows today with the lower cam facility fee and the lower positioning cost but now they are as they were.

FfS might have known it was too good to be true.

How do you do C2C with the new broadcaster? I tried clicking left/right and every which way but can’t find how to do it

Click next to their name n the little box under where it says Actions, you get the option, that's where you kick them too so you need to know! Lol x

OK found out why I keep dropping out of the new broadcaster. We've just gone onto mobile internet, speeds are better than fibre for us and a lot cheaper as we've combined it with our mobile contracts. . Hubby just thought of connecting the fibre back up again as the contract hasn't run out yet. And bingo, it works fine. So now I have to get a cheap BB contract to run the broadcaster on.

update: As of 1st January 2021, the UK have officially left the European Union and for VAT purposes are now considered 'Rest of World'. This means AdultWork is no longer required to apply VAT on Administration fees or promotional facilities to those offering their services from within the UK.

I noticed it yesterday but after posting about this happening a few days ago only for the VAT to come back on, I wanted someone else to mention it! Where did you see that quote Louise, I can't find anything about it on there?

Thanks Louise, I had read all the other pages but never found that one! Oh brilliant, now I know I wasn't going crazy the other day! Yes if it came off cam prices too we'd be back to where we were but this still makes a nice difference.

So. DirectIM. Why does the AW system want to use my cam and mic for a text-only service? I know JustCamIt used to want them, but that was the old separate system. Surely AW could have build a text only service that didn't require plugging in an unnecessary cam and mic?

How are u girls doing with the new broadcaster? Has all the bugs been fixed?

There are still bugs that need fixing but it's okay so far. Cam2Cam is not great though, I haven't been able to get many customers cams to work
