It depends on how close you are to the exchange and then how far the green box is to your house how fast your speed is going to be.
Their Fibre optic sounds good, that will be fast & BT has their own BT infinity. I'd go for the BT one if I had the choice. Virgin Media are in the paper again today for ripping off their customers by charging them ridiculous exit fees if they move house & Virgin can't offer the same service at their new property.
Before broadband was in my area - they was providing me with about 0.95 down load and charging me about £20 a month for. It was down to all the faults on my line which they just kept denying that there was any.
They might provide on average faster speeds for half of the country but just hope you never get a problem with their service because their customer service is very poor in my opinion.

...my client replied: 'I have to admit I do download them from AW when I watch them the first time, so now I have quite the library of your movies. I am sorry if this is not acceptable' *cough* 'loyal slave' *cough*. Can't believe it has taken me so many years to realise dudes can just click and steal my content from aw. At least in this single instance I can make them pay....
