I know newbies come here all the time asking for advice on how to attract more customers, how to make privates last longer, what cam to buy and all those things. But I don't remember seeing any thread that compiled what you should not do if you want to be successful at camming.
I was thinking about making a list of bad habits I have (or used to have) that I know that can put my success (aka $$$) in jeopardy. I keep a board in the room I use to cam where I write my goals, collect pictures of stuff I want and I was going to glue this list there as well. The idea was to read it everyday so I could keep reminding me of what's keeping me from making more money. Then I thought, why not making a thread about it?
I'm gonna start with a few things that come up to my mind right now, feel free to post some! If I have time, I'll edit the post every time new suggestions are posted:
- Sign up to many sites and not work on any of them on a regular basis
- Probably the most common problem of us all: SLACK! Keep telling myself I'm gonna log on in 1 hour, maybe 2 hours from now... Then I end up going online 5 or 6 hours later then expected.
- Browsing other sites while I'm on cam.
- Spending too much time putting make-up on, with such details that aren't even noticeable on cam.
- Keep logging on and off every few minutes.
- Sometimes I get lazy and I don't set up my cam properly before going online (I mean, contrast, brightness, saturation...)
- Lose too much time browsing about new/potential sites to work on.
- Get lazy about producing content and updating my profiles.
- Ignore customers messages (not the crazy/creepy/annoying ones).
Anyway, I'll post some mora as I remember (or if I catch myself doing something I shouldn't!).

I have a septum piercing and sometimes I have to adjust it. Ppl always think I'm picking my nose. I have to take the jewelry out and show them before they believe me.
