Default What do you do w.t. purse when dancing?

I've read a lot about using a garter to keep your money - that's great & I get it. However, what if I choose to use a small purse to keep my cash in - how do I keep it safe while dancing on stage & when doing lapdances? Any advice? Thx.

honestly, I would carry around a small shoulder bag. Clutches are too easily laid down and forgotten or stolen because they are not big enough to notice. Anyway, I always put my purse underneath the man's chair when I was doing a dance and if you are the only one dancing on stage, then just put it in a corner that is not accessible by men or dancers. That's what I did. I would keep my purse zipped up in case of pick pockets and I always had the purse either in my lap or in front of me on the table when I was talking with a customer. I also never drink in general, so getting drunk and misplacing it was never an issue for me.

^^What I do. well, what I did till I started working at a club that makes me carry this.

And believe me, once you have money in there your eye will be on it at all times. You just set it down on the table if you are next to one or on the floor if you are not. You obviously put it in the back of the stage when you go on.

Don't get a shoulder bag, anything besides a clutch looks REALLY tacky.
but my purse is a SMALL shoulder bag......short shoulder strap...it's a gold leather Juicy Couture purse that I bought specifically for the club. I have seen other girls wear SMALL shoulder bags. Nothing big and, as you say, tacky. It's small...big enough for a small wallet, cell phone, a travel size sanitizer bottle, a travel size pack of baby wipes, my on-the-go pill case, my lipstick case, and powder compact. Sounds like it'd be a big or even medium purse, but it is a small purse that can't really fit much. I have seen other girls at my club, which is a big club, don small shoulder bags AND clutches. There were girls that did the crown royal bag or the garter thing. But depending on the girl and her "look", the shoulder bag or a clutch would work. Besides, I am forgetful, so I might leave my clutch or lose it. I guess because you have not seen a picture it might seem tacky in your mind....or you just might think anything other than a clutch is tacky. It's your personal opinion so I respect it, but I gotta admit, I don't find crown royal bags sexy or attractive but I am not gonna knock it. Every woman has a different choice of how to carry their money.

    BOTM,

your club MAKES you carry around that Caboodles thing? wow. That looks like it'd be kind of awkward and cumbersome to carry around just because of it's square shape and it's hard surface. I saw the pictures of your little wristlet. it's cute! I like the bracelet you attached, even if it is too big. lol

I used to carry around a small coffin purse, or alternately a small metal betty boop lunch pail.
