    Default Acrylic nail question

I feel absolutely dense for asking this but Google wasn't answering it soo....

I have a bunch of those off white, paint yourself acrylic nails.
I bought a gorgeous gunmetal grey-blue nail polish to paint them.

Should i put them on THEN paint them?
    OR
    Paint them then attach them?

    {I want them to look nice so i rather know then try one way or another and find out other wise.. You know? Been awhile since i've done them.}

    Thanks kindly!

    Do water marbling instead! =]

But either way whether you paint them the one color or water marble them, I would paint them first and then glue them on.

It is kind of hard to paint them though unless they have that little tab attached to them that you then twist off when they're attached to your fingers.

So if it has a tab to hold onto, paint first then attach.

If no tab, attach and then paint.

^^ Get some 'Blu-Tack'....you know, that rubbery stuff you can roll into little balls and can stick things onto the fridge with..?

Put a blob of that on the table - put the nail on it and then paint the nail. Then just take the nail off it again when it's dry.

    No tabs sadly.

I gave it a test run on a way to big nail to see if painting them on there own would be easy....
    NO
I got paint all over my dang fingers. It flipped over like twice. And i could cover it all cause my fingers kept smudging it.

So put on and paint it is!

Thanks so much for the tips ladies!!! XOXOXO
