Default What makes you remember a customer?

Ok so last night I made a visit to a strip club after a month plus some days and was suprised to have two of the dancers remember me.

The Blonde remembered me after I tipped her on stage, and she said she rememberd me. I said "Really?" and she accurately pointed out to where I was sitting last time. I didn't even buy a dance from her last time, (She attended to some regular after our conversation.)
The brunette recognized me as soon as I walked to second stage. My last visit I bought 2 dances from her and a gave a tip for a 20 minute conversation before doing so. She too accurately pointed to where I was sitting last time and commented on the growth of my hair and remembered I am a cook.

My Question to all you ladies out there is what makes a customer worth being recognized, other than being a nice guy and whatnot? You see and dance for a dozen people a week and what makes you remember a guy after a month?

By how much money you spend. Maybe I remember you from being in the club before but if you're a cheap ass then I'm not going to let you know that.

If you're polite, funny, respectful, have a good personality and get more than 3 or 4 dances, I might very well remember you, favorably.

If you're an asshole who whips his dick out I'll remember you too. But not in a good kinda way. In a "I'll tip a bouncer to throw you out" kinda way.

Money must be bad in that club if 2 girls remember you when you spent so little. Or you have some VERY standout features about you (Unique style/accent/personality/smell/etc).

Or perhaps the girls have amazing memories at this strip club. Who knows....

Dancers often remember me from previous visits whether I spend money on them or not. I don't know why remembering a customer's face from the week before is a big deal. I've had dancers remember talking to me after longer than just one or two weeks. I don't see anything special about it. Why would they need a reason? In business it is useful to remember faces.

If they're hot, spent mad $$$ on me, bought my panties, urine, used tampons attempted to masturbate in the club and summarily get thrown out I probably remember them.

The girls that I spend money on remember me because I spend money on them. The girls that I don't spend money on me remember me because I don't.

It's not necessarily good or bad, it just is. Dancers make a living by maximizing their time during the shift. While being a "non-customer" may not mean total disdain it does put you pretty low on the priority list...

Some people simply stand out from the crowd for whatever reason, but nothing specific. It could be the way you look, how you acted, or simply because you were new to the club. Don't let it inflate your ego though.

Some customers just stand out to me. Some don't. I remember clearly the one guy who spent butt-loads on me. I can remember half the guys who spent a fair amount. I remember some of the guys who spent nothing. I agree that some people just stand out. Same as some people are just not recognizable. I have friends that I've known for years that, to this day, I have trouble spotting in a room because they just don't stand out.

I can clearly remember a guy who would only tip me on stage - total tightwad, never bought drinks or dances - but I remembered him instantly the next time he came in and every time after. Don't know why - he was just distinguishable.

If we have something other than the repetitive small talk I endure every night. To talk about something interesting makes a big difference. Or if you give me an item of your clothing, which seems to happen a lot as I like wearing men's shirts.

    1) If you spent a lot of money on me, which wasn't the case here.

    2) If you have something distinctive about your appearance: really young, really old, weird face, hot, REALLY not hot, etc. If you're a slightly overweight, balding, middle-aged man, then this is pretty much out!

    3) If you wanted something unusual from me during a dance or if you said something memorable during conversation.

they obviously were paying full attention to you when you were talking. Found something interesting that made them remember you. i'm pretty good like that but when it comes to directions, I suck so bad.
I'm here to make money. NOT make friends, if I make a friend then it's a bonus.

I'd rather be absolutely ridiculous that absolutely boring

I remember faces super easy and can almost always recall where you were sitting regardless of how much money you spent. Don't usually remember much else though unless there was money spent or something that stood out like being on one end of the gentleman asshole spectrum.

Bad manners and bad hygiene will make a stripper never forget you. Ever.

This. But for me, mostly number three. The more interesting a conversation is, the more likely I am to remember you.

It used to be several things.

    1) Spending a large amount of money. If you spent $500 and up, I would remember you forever.

    2) I actually had fun with you. Sometimes, I'd meet a customer, do a couple of dances, and he was actually awesome.

    3) Rarely, if he was particularly handsome or interesting looking.

    4) He's in the club ALL THE DAMN TIME.

    4) Any combination of 1, 2, 3 or 4.

As the VIP person, it's a little different. For example, I have this one dude who has become a regular recently. He ALWAYS buys a room, he is ALWAYS sweet to my girls, he's a nice tipper, and he looks like Dexter. I don't know his real name, but every time he comes up to my podium I always shake his hand, smile and am like "Hey, Dexter! Nice to see you again! Are you going to the room with Bubbles or Sunshine today?". I do in fact call him Dexter, and it makes him laugh. It also helps that the girls he frequents are my favourites; I tend to remember all my preferred girls' regulars.

I will remember a customer if they amuse me and keep me interested. The whole "what is your name? where do you live? are you in school? what do you like to do?" spiel is soooooooo boring and you have to do it allllllll day and it is mostly someone trying to waste your time. Plus, guys that enjoy talking are great champagne guys if they can afford it, so I'm sure the dancers could of seen your last visit as planting a seed that could develop into VIP time. Of course I'll also remember big spenders and guys that have a distinct feature too.

It was funny the second time I visited my favorite club, which has since gone out of business. This dancer on whom I had spent a fair amount of cash was enthusiastic and excited to see me again. She bubbled, "It's so great that you're back again! But where's your cowboy hat?"

It was then that I realized she had me confused with another customer who had been there the week before, a white haired guy with a cowboy hat. I had white hair too, but no cowboy hat.

But for the next year or so I was her regular (along with her sister who also danced there), and the two of them were my ATFs. Still are, although that club has closed and both have retired from dancing.

FOR ME: Usually by how unique his personality and/or looks are, or if the conversation was unique and not the typical conversations you get with most normal guys. And last of all how much he spends or if he did a VIP (but def not necc. to be remembered). I have remembered guys I"ve seen/talked to only once a year ago and have forgotten guys whom I just did a dance for like literally 3 minutes before (and accidentally tried to talk to them into a dance again and the guy would be baffled and said you just gave me a dance! doh!)
