    Default stressssssssss :(

    what are some quick cures for stress?

    I've been meditating and doing yoga daily as a way to reduce overall stress but when you're in the middle of an anxiety attack what do you do to immediately diffuse it?

    people tell me I need to just stop worrying but sometimes it isn't that easy.

    Kava kava root! I promise, it works. It's used as an anti-anxiety and muscle relaxant, so it might make some people a bit sleepy. My boyfriend takes Ativan for his anxiety/depression, and whenever he runs out early, he uses the kava kava root http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/e...jsp?id=GH-7362

    He nearly died from withdrawals from Ativan, and this is the only thing that stops him from withdrawling. Several of the reviewers say it works just as well as their anti-anxiety medication. Also, it lasts forever! It's just amazing!

    if anyone shares a miracle cure, let me know. im currently dealing with preparing for the bar exam and some serious health issues, so i am beyond stressed. to put it mildly.

    Whenever I feel a stress or panic attack coming on, I play video games. Or I go for a walk. Or, sometimes (I think this may be kinda weird) I just sort of pace back and forth in my room and talk aloud to myself, verbally figuring out the problem. I think that when I vocalize stuff, it becomes much more clear to me than when I'm just thinking it.

    Im not sure what kind of anxiety attack you are taking about, but when I go through nasty conflicts , problems, arguments, dilemmas I keep telling myself in my head
    "Its going to be Ok!" I repeat it so many times in my head until something distracts me from saying it...
    Im not that religious, but you know when we go through bad things, whatever they are, most of us tend to say "God" alot "God, help me" "God, forgive me" "God, show me the way"...and I do that too and it kinda helps you know... and then I forget to say it until next time I have a big problem......
