Default Dyeing my hair back to blonde

Hi all. So I am having a bit of a hair conundrum and I need all you gorgeous people's help. I am naturally a very pale blonde, but have been dyeing my hair a dark bright red for the last 10 months or so (the entire duration that I have worked at my current club). I'm thinking of going back to blonde ('cause I miss it and my hair would appreciate a break), but I'm worried about how it'll affect my job or if people will like the blonde as much as the red.

So what's your opinion? Blonde? Red? I really wanna go back to blonde, but I could stick it out as a redhead for a couple more months. There are more blondes at my club (more platinum blondes, though) than redheads, but blonde just feels good to me...I dunno.

I included these photos as evidence of hair both colors for comparison.

Wow, go back to blonde!!!! Your natural hair colour is amazing. It's hard to tell from just 2 pics, but it looks like it suits you more.

I agree with Sia - I love your natural color! At my old club, there was only one redhead so she banked - but if there are other redheads where you are, it's not like you have a monopoly anyway. So you should go back to what makes you feel better. When I was dying my hair blonde, I refused to change it until I quit my club because I was almost always the only blonde on my shift. But I knew I wouldn't be around much longer. If you don't plan to quit any time soon, I would go with what you feel looks better. I'm sure the customers that you've really built rapport with will continue to spend on you regardless.

Definitely go back to being blonde! Your natural color is GORGEOUS and you look MUCH prettier & fresher than in the red-head pic. Many women would love to have lovely locks like yours! Why hide it under a harsh and unflattering red?

I love the red actually and would keep doing it, but my hair is aching for a break and I just need a change...I get bored if my hair stays the same for too long...and since I'm growing it out, doing anything cut-wise with it is out of the question.

But I actually really like the red and I get so many compliments on it, especially in the club where the lights are all funky. Guys are so blind, they are all up on me all the time like, "Wow, I love natural redheads" and I just giggle! lol.

Have fun trying to go back to your natural color after dying it red for so long. Speaking from personal experience, it's one of the most difficult and damaging things to do to your hair (which is why I found it ironic since you said you wanted to give your hair a break). You can't "dye" your hair back to blonde, you're going to have to strip the color out first and then bleach the rest of the pigment out. Red is the hardest color to get out of your hair, and depending how many layers of it you have, it will usually take a few sessions. Mine took about 8 sessions...good luck and don't forget the keratin protein.

I actually really like the red, but the blonde is nice too. I'm going to agree with the last post that getting it back to blonde could prove difficult & damage it. I'd actually suggest that you stop putting full red color onto it & just use the red to do some low-lights in your hair. Let that start to grow out & slowly chop off the red until you can get it back to blonde, that way you aren't processing it so much.

I like the blonde too but like everyone has said it's unlikely you'll be able to go back to that shade. I think you would look great as a strawberry blonde though, and that's probably in the realm of possibilities.
