Good Morning Ladies!
Well in my searches, I have found more useful things for you guys....
Faxes!!!
I am a frequent user of E-Fax. Just some advantages I like...
- YOU DO NOT NEED A PHONE LINE, JUST AN INTERNET CONNECTION!
- You can have MORE than one fax number on your account.
I have a local fax number AND a toll free fax number

- even though my bank account has like $3 in it - it still let me sign up and use THAT bank account - it verified with like $1 for like an hour and dropped right back off again.
- desktop messenger service and will email you when faxes are confirmed and delivered.
- they have 2 different packages - I have efax plus - you may pay monthly or annually - I pay monthly - Monthly is $16,95 a month and annually is $16.95 a month with a setup fee is $10.00. I can recieve 150 FREE pages every month (I don't think this includes the ones I send to myself for the ones I want to CONFIRM that I have sent out) after you hit your limit it is .10 a page and sending faxes is 150 pages FREE a month and after that it is .10 a page. Their Pro package is $19.95 per month with a $19.95 Setup fee and 200 Free faxes Sending & Recieving Per month with ,10 per page there after. Annually, the cost is $16.63.
- The interface is kick ass with being able to read your faxes, knowing when and where you sent them to and with as much detail as possible.
- They even have a MOBILE APP to fax with. KICK ASS!
- ENHANCED SECURITY FEATURES!
- COMPLETE CUSTOMIZATION FOR YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS!
- TIP - convert your documents into PDF before you fax them. It compresses the files, and makes them easier to send.
FAQ -
FreeFax is supposed to be a competitor to E-Fax. If anyone has or will use them, please post a review here for us to know about it. They also offer a 30 day trial.
Now - you are probably asking, why wouldn't you use one of those free fax services online? Well, the problem with those is - if you are just in a bind and are going to send one page, sure, that's GREAT - go ahead and use that but they are NOT always reliable. E-Fax is reliable. This weekend, I faxed 17 documents 6+ pages or more to my student loans places, creditors, and other places, and they ALL WENT through with ZERO issues. Most of the freebie places have a 3-5 page cap and you have to eliminate the cover page and abide by their rules.
However, if you want to be smart, you CAN split your faxes up with the free services...BUT again, another downfall....they limit you to 2 faxes a day on many sites....
FaxZero
I have used them before. I needed to fax the gas company something that was like one page before. I remember it took almost 2 hours for it to go through. When you go to the page, read it and look at it and tell me what you see....sure you can pay it for...but why pay when you can sign up for a trial and get it GUARANTEED?
GotFreeFax
Another Free Service...but again - read the print before you use it.
Skype also have a Fax Service but I am weary of it. They say it is FREEWARE buttttt many things are freeware with skype but if you want GOOD things on skype you must pay - i have bookmarked it and I will let you know about that when I get the time to research it.
I know that some of you do not have a scanner. I understand those are expensive and HARD to find. Keep an eye on the free section of Craigslist. Offices are CONSTANTLY giving these things away if not selling for $10-$20 in the computer section. Hell - I will probably have some coming up in the future I may be selling a few soon. If you can - try to find a all-in-one printer...personally, I like the older scanners and the smaller printers...
I tell you what - I am going to keep a look out for scanners here in Pittsburgh. If I see ANY - I will try to get them. If you will pay for shipping, I will get them to you as fast I can. If it's possible.
*Tip....If you want a good doc-to-pdf converter..![]()
Hope this information helps you guys that were having a hard time when it came down to scanning pictures and ID in for working on new sites.Taking pictures and then trying to send them in is a PAIN IN THE ASS! So - here is my help...Faxing is good too!
