    Default The Riviera, Queens, NY

Has anyone worked here before? Did you like it?

I'm looking for info. on tipouts, management style, if there are required numbers of shifts, any outfit requirements, contact levels, dance and VIP prices, etc.

I only worked here briefly, they allow smoking inside which I'm not a fan of. It was mostly spanish women but there are also some russians and black women. You have to do the tip walk thing after your set behind the bar. No house fees if you are there and ready by 8. Friday and Saturday nights dresses are worn but it's whatever you want the rest of the week. You must work at least three shifts per week. Not a high contact place. Crowd was overall pretty young. Can't give you much info on the management style because I wasn't there long but the dancers/bouncers seemed cool. Dances are $30, forgot what VIP prices were. Hope this helps!

Thanks, Shavaun! It sounds worth at least checking out. I don't love the smoking thing, but I do love no house fee. I assume the club takes some cut of the dances, then?

Also, are dancers free to leave when they want, or does everyone have to work the entire night? Their website says they're open until 4:00, and I don't want to be completely nocturnal.

You have to stay the whole shift, 8-4.

Hi chica! I worked a few clubs in Queens but not Riviera, the house mom Angie over there worked with me at Scandals, she's good people.

In Queens, Riviera is one of your best bets, but I think it's a kind of young crowd with not the deepest pockets, but who like to be entertained and reward you for being a good entertainer.
