When I danced in Sydney, in 2001, I was in Mosman and cabbed it home. I know busses there were 24 hours. I never would have thought a bus a good idea but after ten years in the USA, I wouldn't think twice about it! What part of Sydney are you in?

Bus, train, nightride bus when the trains stop running, unless you are nearby cabs get way too expensive! 131500.com trip planner is your friend Sydney city is pretty safe, just go to work in trackies and use a sports bag not an obvious stripper wheelie bag

I used to live in Sydney (never worked there though) but when getting home late at night you have a LOT of options. Driving is pretty quick and easy because there is no traffic at 4am. Catching a bus (but beware the dodgy fellas and sit toward the front near the driver), taxi (especially if you can get a regular guy that knows you need driving from your club to the house every day) I dont think they are too pricey... not compared to where I am now anyway!!, trains (again, stick close to the driver's cabin at the front of the train).
