I recently relocated to a new state and the college I applied to is a much farther distance than I had anticipated. I would like to apply to 2 other schools closer to me.
The kicker is one of my previous schools take a very long time to send out transcripts and I know I would not receive it before the semester starts and there is hardly any time left to apply.
The other school may get the transcript there in time, but I dropped out so my GPA is abysmal. I don't understand why it's even necessary after all that time, I'm just applying to community college for the time being.
What could happen if I just leave it off the new application? I have been out of school for 9 years, so I won't even be able to use the credits for the classes I did complete.
I'm guessing the only way they would know is if they look at my past FAFSA record, which was back in 02/03. Do community colleges usually do that?
