Default does hair colour make a difference?

Im a natural brunette and always wanted to experiment with non natural colours in my hair(blue, purple, red)

I was wondering if anyone has non natural hair colour and how does it affect your money?

Take my advice and don't do it. I had blue hair for awhile and not only did it fuck up my natural hair my $$$$$ went down. If you're gonna do that go to Hot Topic get the clip ins that all the little poseur goths and twilight brats love so much. If you don't like them you can take em out. No harm no foul.

I have never had my hair colored but I wouldn't do it. I also agree with experimenting with the color clip ins.

if you do it, do pink. guys will be way more forgiving of pink than other colors.

i've seen girls do well with "alternative" looks, but it depends on your area, your club, and whether you can pull it off.

I wouldn't do it. In my experience, guys want to see their fantasy girl and very few mens' fantasy girl has "out there hair". THAT ISN'T TO SAY THAT CUSTOMER DOESN'T EXIST! If we are looking at stripping as a numbers game though, stay mainstream if possible. Besides, bleaching your hair is going to fuck it up until it grows out and that is NOT worth it - especially if it's long.

I would suggest getting a high quality wig in a colour that is still mainstream but different than what you have now. Maybe blonde? I have noticed that there are times when guys will grab a blonde over a brunette of the same build and "dancer quality". I have also seen it the other way though so it can't hurt to use a wig to see which colour you make more money with

i started dancing wiht blue hair. in the lighting, it wasnt super noticeable and i really did look good with it.

that being said, i dont recommend it... i make a lot more money as tan blonde barbie than the punky girls at my club do.
The best thing i have heard in a strip club to date:
customer: we should get married right now! we should get a shotgun marriage!
me: uhh... i think you are misunderstanding what a shotgun marriage means. A shotgun marriage means you knock me up and my daddy shows up at your door with a gun and forces you to marry me and raise the baby. You mean elope.
customer: hmm... nah actually i will take the shotgun marriage. At least then we would be having sex.

I'm going to second what Tempest said - get clip ins.

And what SSS said - Get pink ones if you want them for work. Maybe purple. Men respond better to more traditionally 'feminine' colors.

And what Sadie said - USUALLY the closer the to the stereotypical 'stripper' you are, the more money you will make.

It's a gamble. Bleach your hair if you want. It may pay off for you it may not. Who am I to say it won't work? But in my experience it was too much of pain in the arse. My hair was fucked up for a long time and took 3 years to recover. Now it's plain black and long. I took out all my face piercings. But hey live and learn. One thing I would not suggest is using the shitty hot topic bleach to do your hair. Go get it professionally done.

It depends on how you look like. My natural hair is black but I am very fair. It actually makes me look gothic. Since age 14 I had my hair be red. Not punk red, but definately deep red. During summer, I lighten the red. But red all year round. It works in my favor since all the asians I work with are blondes or brunettes. But outside of the club. My guy definately took notice. But also I like to be different in the club and outside of the club

    Wigs!!!

If you want to experiment for you in your "real life" then I would get a brunette (or even better, blonde...its true, they love blondes!) wig and put it on over your "real life" crazy color hair. You could even try to work with the bright colors, and then put on the wig if you don't do well.

Or if you want to experiment for the club, then buy bright wigs - the color will stay much more vibrant than if you are dying your natural hair.
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

Some custys may think its cute, but I don't think it's a good idea overall. For me, I try to appeal to business men who want to spend a couple hundred dollars or more in VIP. Things like piercings, tattoos, and wild hair tend to make these types of men (at least in my experience) more wary. They want class, they want seductive, they want a look that is not going to freak them out. I have two sleeve tattoos but I often keep them covered up with fishnets made into a shrug if I think the custy is more on the conservative side.

We love the things that make us different but sometimes I know my tattoos (if not covered up) hurt business. The same for when I've had lip piercings.

I would advise you not to do it. Im a brunette and I started stripping with really awesome turquoise streaks in my hair. They looked great but they hurt my hair and my money. After I ditched the turquoise I made more money. I also bleached the shit out of my hair . I should have done clip ins.

Try with the clip-ins and wigs first. It's hard to go back once you're already there. I have a Mohawk/shave my head and my money goes waaaaay down when I put on a wig/have extensions

You can get away with pretty damn vibrant shades of red I think. I've heard fellas yelling "I LOVE REDHEADS!!" up at gals before.

I didnt do so well when i had pink and blue hair (not at the same time). I guess not every guy likes that, but some are ok with it. Unfortunately mainstream type of people are pretty conservative.
