yeah, that should be fast enough.
what are your computer specs? how old is your computer? are you doing anything else at the same time?
my computer specs are decent but it still runs super laggy for me if i'm doing other things at the same time. and i had to get a fan for my laptop.

well if its not that ....Then u must have the encoder set wrong......look at the support on SM and change your settings

Make sure you have the latest version of the encoder downloaded (3.2) I had the same problem until I downloaded the newest version and now I show up in HD on my profile.

Ugh... I need some help ladies! I just upgraded my HD encoder to 3.2 and now I am getting the same problem. I followed all the instructions to a T... Here is my current configuration:
Format: H264
Framerate: 12 fps
Input size: 640x480 aspect ratio box is checked
Bit rate: 650 kbps
Output size: 640x480
Profile: Main
Level: 3.0
Keyframe Frequency: 5 seconds
audio:
Format: Mp3
Channels: Mono
Sample rate: 11025
Bit rate:20
panel options:
input video is unchecked
output and audio are checked
- Select output in the Panel options dropdown and follow the following instructions for the different fields:
"Stream to Flash Media Server" is checked
Deleted all text in FMS and stream
Checked "Auto Adjust"
Unchecked "Save to File"
and of course my profile is saved.

Still not working
I have heard that sometimes the HD wont be there for a while. I know I was having problems with it and it was all in my settings (output was set to 320x240 instead of 640x480)
Have you tried going into your cam settings and making sure it is set to 640x480? I am not sure what cam you use but mine has options for that. Other than that I would ask support.
One thing they will tell you to do is uninstall and reinstall the encoder from their page.
