Default How to turn off member's audio on SM?

Today I had a cam2cam with a member on SM and his sound was so so so loud and the feedback was driving me crazy. What drove me nuts was I couldnt find the way to turn off his audio and ended up muting the sound on my laptop. Is it possible to turn off member's audio on SM? I know its a silly question but I just couldnt find anything today

I don't think it's possible. I just mute them no matter what and say my speakers aren't working. It always does that feedback loop and I find it incredibly distracting.

That's so weird because I can never hear them & I have great speakers and mic and all. They changed the site recently, so I'm not exactly sure what the buttons are, but you should only be hearing them in private, not in free chat. And I've only known about hearing customers if they are in private and turn on a cam. Then I can hear the audio, but only if I push a button to hear the audio... and I never do. In fact, I have a sticky note that I keep on the side of my screen to cover up a cam if a guy wants to do cam2cam. I don't know about ya'll but I DON'T need to see some guy stroking his junk. Not into it.

Thank you ladies. I emailed them and got the reply "There is no way to turn off their sound. You would just have to turn off your speakers." Its strange how come a big site like that doesnt have the mute button. If I turn off my speakers, then I cant hear private notifications from other sites I work on. lol

Tell him to plug a pair of headphones in...that distrupts the loop and makes it easier for you to hear him.

Well then what does that "turn off audio" button do, the one that pops up when they turn their cam on? I always press it and sometimes it works, other times it doesn't.

I absolutely HATE IT when guys want to talk out loud over c2c... especially since there's usually a delay of a few seconds and it makes everything really awkward.
