Default fb/twitter drama comes from nowhere

Ok, so something like 3 years ago another model I know said something kinda nasty to me on a forum board. She closed her nasty remark with a line about how she knew I'd just let it drop. I responded like a lady, I'd like to think, but with some venom of my own. She apologized, I apologized, I thought everything was good. We've even shot together since and everything seemed fine.

Today she wrote on my twitter:
I thought you have to actually have a bachelors degree to go to graduate school or are u doing Devry/ University of Phoenix?

Which was weird because I hadn't said anything about my prep for grad school in days. I'm studying to take the GRE to apply for grad schools, besides the point to this tho. I responded (told her I HAD graduated college) because I'm naive and thought she was genuinely asking, in a bit of a snarky way but people misread stuff on the internet all the time. benefit of the doubt.

    She responds:
1)You're such a compulsive liar. You know you dropped out. Aren't you also supposed to be "22" but n reality you're 31-years-old?
2)Next time your shifty bitch-ass reports model's photos on facebook make sure you create a fake account. You r not a nice person.

Since fans and stuff are watching this and may now start wondering I reply:

1)I did and then I went back and finished my degree in 2010. I'm 29 and say I'm 25.
2)Don't know what yr talking about. My own photos have been reported 100s of times but you don't see me blaming you for it.
2)honestly. We had a disagreement, not even a fight, what, 3 years ago? And I'm the prime suspect for whatever this is?

I'm kinda amused and totally baffled. I figured that she's talking about the notice you get from FB when your photos are flagged. I've gotten them before but all it says is that your photos were flagged. So now I'm wondering if it's something else or if maybe there's someone out there pretending to be me and fucking with people?

I keep coming back to two things.

First, of COURSE this has to happen days before the big industry convention that she's probably going to be at. So she'll probably be badmouthing me to everyone for something I'm totally blindsided by. That's going to be fun. I hope she doesn't cost me any shoots.

Second, it's got to be nice to have so few people you may have pissed off that the first person you think to blame when something goes wrong is someone you sniped at in a forum 3 years ago. Not saying I've got a ton of enemies or anything but shit, you'd think there'd be an ex boyfriend or someone you cut off in traffic or underbid on a gig in all that time! Who keeps a grudge for THREE YEARS over a FORUM POST?! That's just bizarre.

This whole thing is just weird. It's pointless devoting brainpower to this, isn't it? I just keep wondering what she's talking about and what happened to this girl whom I thought I was casually friendly with. Was she mad at me this whole time? What is she talking about? Is there someone pretending to be me? I'd be wasting my time if I tried to call her and see wtf she's talking about, wouldn't I? I mean, I know it. I know I'd be wasting my time but seriously, this is totally weird.

This is why I keep Facebook private and rarely go there. In 2009 was my 20 year reunion and the nasty mud slinger I saw with classmates really sickened me.

I used to post on a message board for a famous rock band. I would see people bringing up comments from 10 years ago. Many got to know one another in person, then they'd get in fights then mudsling. The fact that people had grudges years later disturbed me.

I would tell everyone you think might be swayed by her before she can. Otherwise I'd ignore it because if she's doing itto you she probably has other issues.

    This.

I really cannot understand why people spend SOO much time and get SOO hung up on Facebook and stuff like it. It's the Internet for Heaven's sakes...the REAL world is outside your front door.

Yeah I have recently made a 'pact' with myself to stay off Facebook. I don't think it's healthy, well it definately isn't for me. Basically I realised that I'm just sitting around wasting time looking at and comparing myself to other peoples lives (or a version of their lives that they choose to share) when I could be spending more time on productive ways to enhance my life.

She's pathetic if she has to suspect you over no evidence. Either that, or she's a freak of a liar. I don't know how common this is, but I've encountered people that just make shit up for the sake of pissing you off and ending a friendship. I knew these two sisters in my old neighborhood - one of them, I was friends with, and one day she was talking to me online and told me to stop "warning" her on AIM (back in the day, where, if someone pissed you off, you could "warn" them). I didn't even have that version of AIM and had no clue what she was talking about. But she kept freaking out and yelling at me for "doing it over and over," had her sister come online and yell at me, and ceased to talk to me from that day since. I thought this was bizarre, but then found out a couple years later that she and her sister had done something similar to a friend of mine - just randomly accused her doing something she never did, yelled at her, ganged up on her about it, and then stopped being her friend .... again, I don't know how common this freakish behavior is, but maybe she's just a drama-starter.

Either way, her behavior is pathetic, and you should just stop talking to her. If she has nothing better going on her life than to start online drama, she's not worth it.
