Question for laurielegs...
Because shes so helpful in mailing panties hehe
Ok, so Im finally getting my lazy ass around to sending off those panties to London. You mentioned you dont mail anything in person (which is the way Id like to do it) but Im wondering what kind of postage do you use? Do you just go to the counter and tell them you need X amount of postage printed? Or do you just stick a buttload of stamps on the envelope?
Also, can I just use a plain old padded envelope from Office Max or do they have special "international flat rate" ones at the post office that I need to use?
Ugh, this international panty sellin' is a headache. Thanks for all your help Laurie! I was gonna post this in the original Panty selling thread but I couldnt find it lol.

Re: Question for laurielegs...
Yep, you can pick them up at most post offices without even going to the counter. The padded envelopes are free and they say "Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope" and it's a flat rate of 13.95 to most locations. You can buy your postage and just stick it on there or buy it at the counter to put on later. They also have small boxes. I think those cost a bit more.
You can even go to usps.com and print your postage there. They will send you those envelopes free too at usps.com if you don't want to go pick them up.
http://postcalc.usps.gov/Default.aspx (click More to see the padded envelopes).
It has to be under one pound to use the flat rate envelopes and to skip the customs form (another reason I don't mail shoes internationally).
and you;re right it is a headache! Doesn't seem worth it unless you have a bunch to mail at once or unless it's a really really loyal good spender.

Re: Question for laurielegs...
Thanks for replying Laurie!
Well I went to the post office today and the guy said even though it was under 16oz and I was using the flatrate envelope I had to fill out a customs form since it was a "parcel" instead of documents. I told him it was a baby tshirt but he said anything thats not a letter or documents has to fill out a customs form. FML.

Re: Question for laurielegs...
hmm... well I've sent them before. I think maybe it's because you just need to do the priority mail flat rate and not deal with them directly?
If it's flat and not lumpy I can't see how they would think it's anything other than documents.
