Just curious, besides the obvious hoodies and yoga pants what did you wear post op? Also please bear in mind I will be in ARIZONA in AUGUST.

That is it! Don't wear a shirt underneath. If your ps makes you wear a compression garment or sports bra try to get one with a front closure. Maybe you can find a short sleeve hoody for when you leave and capris. Get it airbrushed on the back that says "Just Got Boobs!" haha. jk.

hmmm... I got mine done in April in Chicago, so it wasn't too hot. Maybe just the standard post-op clothes, but tweaked a little to accommodate the weather. Instead of yoga pants, little yoga shorts.

Instead of hoodies, just wear tanks. Hoodies are easy because they zip up, meaning you don't have to raise your arms. But you can always go the opposite way, by sliding a tank over your legs and ass and up around your torso. Sounds weird but that's what I did. Try on the clothes you have now, if you can get something on relatively easily without raising your arms, you'll be able to wear it post-op.

Button up shirts, zip up shirts, easy pull up tank tops, and anything with an elastic waistband. Skirts were easiest for me. I was in Florida in July. Yuck.

Zinaida gave me a front closure surgery bra that another girl had used and passed on to her. Maybe I could pass it on to you

Wal-mart sales the front closure bras, make sure to wear sweats too. And, I know it's hot, I got mine done in june in OC, but it made the process easier wearing a hoodie.

I had mine in August in FL with no AC. Actually, My boobs will be turning 5 on August 3rd. Yay boobs!

I wore compression bra + light button down shirt in a soft material + girl boxers for about a week. I just stayed home and rested up and wore light, comfy, loose clothing. I'd un-button the top of the shirt and ice my breasts often as I was permitted.

If it's really hot just chop off the sleeves of the button down.

Really, don't buy anything new or nice to heal up in. You might bleed on it anyway and you want to be comfortable. Just collect up some old, soft stuff that's laying around your closet now. Does Chris have any old button-down shirts he's not using anymore? Old T-Shirts you can cut down the middle? Seriously, it doesn't matter how you look for the first few days, just wear what's least painful to take on and off, and what's comfortable and clean. Nothing that requires you to lift your arms.

After the first week you could switch to easy to take off tanktops and comfy boxers/pj pants/sweat pants.
