    Default Another Payment processor thread

I know there are a few out there but I didn't really find the info I was looking for. Trying to find adequate payment processor for my site...not looking for recurring membership sales or anything, just be able to process payments for goods (vids, pics, camshows, and spexy paraphernalia). I want guys to be able to just pay with their credit card without having to actually sign up to a site (ie. like alertpay requires guys to sign up to alertpay which guys hate) Also something thats relatively easy to sign up for...I've heard alot have really extensive verifications and hoops to jump through. Any advice would be SUPER DUPER appreciated

If you have a site you can work with- I recommend ccbill. They went in and set everything up for me, all I had to do was generate the html code to link from my site to the payment form. I don't have a membership site, and they called me, I told them I just wanted to charge flat fees, they said no problem and helped me set it up. good luck

Isn't it like super expensive to get set up with ccbill? I'd love to use them because they're reputable and I know guys have used them before but i heard the startup costs are insane.

Nope- it was free for me.. only cost was if I wanted to accept visa it would cost $700 up front I'll do that one day, but for now mastercard, discover, a couple different UK cards, check, and phone billing is okay with me.

I believe okpay is okay with adult transactions. I am still looking into it for my own website.

I agree with BlankStare in her recommendation of ccbill, they are flipping awesome! I also use Verotel (accepts Visa) and Niteflirt for pic & vids. Not quite sure what you mean by paraphernalia but as far as I know none of the 3 are kosher with physical goods like panties & whatnot.

yeah I was looking to sell panties, posters, mousepads, etc... are you sure none of them allow that? this is where i"m effed becasue I sell a bunch of stuff like that, but a "vanilla" payment processor wouldn't allow it, but adult payment processors are so fickle too

^^ I'm not sure about panties, but ccbill will allow you to set up a cart and sell other tangible items.... if you are going to sell panties though, I would just do that privately but accept the payment through a flat-fee button for something else u have on the site (ex. you have a payment button for a $50 show.. they spend the $50 and u send out the panties)

^^ not at all, I was signed up and set up in a day. So long as you have access to a scanner, it's very fast and easy.

Just FYI, not sure if anyone mentioned it but if you have CCBILL, you won't be able to accept Visa, only Mastercard. You have to pay the Visa fee to use Visa. My husband and I run several subscription solo model websites so we are all up in the CCBILL thing.

If you need help with anything on CCBILL let me know!

Zombaio doesn't allow camshow payments unless you're specifically approved for that, and up til the time I dumped them (Feb 2011) that required minimum 6 months good seller history with them. For me, zombaio is really only good for membership billing and I wouldn't have another member area if they'd process all the payments for free AND eat all the chargebacks! haha

FYI ladies, when you get your own merchant accounts (CCbill, Zombaio and the like), you have to submit to a credit inquiry and they can/will report on your credit if your account goes bad. This probably isn't a big deal to most, but it is something to consider. Also buyers can see whatever name you use for merchant account billing. Ie, if you use your real name on the account, buyers will be able to see that, so make sure you use a DBA.

I don't think any payment processors are cool with panties and such, so you just have to accept those payments privately and not specify what it's for. Ie, you can do it in exchange for Amazon gift cards (do NOT do it for wishlist purchases because they can cancel that right after placing the order but you won't know until a few days later, likely after you already sent out the item). You could also do it for "cam show payments" like other poster said above.

You can accept Mastercard, Discover, Diner's Club, JCB, payment by phone, checking account, money order, and if your custy reaaaaaaally needs Visa and you don't take it, they can go to https://www.entropay.com/prepaid-plastic-mastercard (which is the ONLY prepaid allowed by ccbill) and just load funds onto a digital mastercard.

btb - for visa it is $750 to start and $500 yearly.

Sorry SupaByoch.. could you clarify this a little for me? What do you mean if the account goes 'bad'?

and yes, when I signed up for my merchant account I named the business something very vanilla, and that is what shows up on the top of my ccbill form when the custy clicks:

CCBill LLC is the designated E-ticket Supplier, Payment Processor, and Access Management Provider for [VanillaBusinessName], [www. yoursite.com].

Verotel accepts Visa and I did not pay anything for it. Sign up was just as easy as ccbill.

Just started to use paytoo. They have given me the run around. I really should stick to my guns when I always say i'm a cheque only gal.

Never again. I have uploaded docs, filled in forms made mistakes and them not allowing me to change them. Thankfully now they have but that is not the point. Had to send a pretty nasty email in CAPS to make my point for them to look at my problem again.

As a person with experience running profitable adult websites, I can tell you that most USA customers prefer to pay with Visa. If you're using ccbill (which is a good way to go) and you don't shell out the fee for Visa acceptance, chances are, you're missing out on sales. It will make a difference. I advise paying that fee as soon as you're able.

Verotel (another good way to go), as others have stated, will allow you to accept Visa without the fee.
