I have my right shoulder done. A few designs and lettering going over my shoulder. I personally like half-sleeves on girls, and full sleeves on men. Full sleeves on men are sexy
And I love a girl in a tank top with a half-sleeve. With her hair loosely tied up...in sunglasses...
mmm.

i would only get a full sleeve if i had [always had] skinny arms. i think full sleeves on chicks look better on skinny arms, and full sleeves on dudes look better with bulging muscles.
im not saying anything else is unattractive, its just the most appealing to me.

I have a full black and grey sleeve on my left arm and I absolutely love it. Its such a part of me, it feels weird when I see photos of me before I had it. It started as a half sleeve (hand to elbow) but pretty soon after I had the urge to complete it and I much prefer it. I feel like my right arm is so bare now, I cant wait to design my next sleeve. I get a 99% positive reaction, would say its actually improved my money at work (the opposite to what I expected) although Im aware that it has limited my chance of jobs after dancing but I believe in fate so Im sure the right job will come along. I don't plan to quit dancing for a very long time anyway. Sorry OP, that's probably not that helpful to your situation but it sounds like asking your uni lecturer for advice is a good idea.

I'm in the process of getting 1/2 my full sleeve removed (from the elbow down).
It's black and grey scale thank god which is easier to remove than color. Not cheaper though!
I am also planning on getting various other tattoos removed as well but planning on keeping some on my upper arms (1/2 sleeves) and some other sentimental ones.
I am doing this because I am going back to school and the field I want to work in it will be much easier to get a job. Also I am tired of it. Doesn't go with my style for the most part any more and I'm tired of getting asked about my tattoos 24/7. I feel like they are consuming "me." That's all people see.
Think long and hard before you tattoo anything you cannot easily cover or isn't blatantly obvious when your at the club or if your planning on working in another field in the future.
I outgrew them. It took about 5 or six years but now I'll never get another one (well....not a big one any way lol)

You could just do the inside of the arm or I know a girl with just around the elbow so it goes a few inches below and a few inches above... looks really feminine

idk, when i saw that on summer it looked really weird. the inside of her arm looked so busy and masculine from trying to hide a half sleeve and it kinda didnt look too good.

^hmmm I thought the opposite was a surprise and cool because I wasn't expecting it.
I have wanted tattoos my entire life and I love the way they look. But I'm 24 now and will probably never get any, and don't have any, simply because I do think full pieces (sleeves, back pieces, etc) look better than small images and things. At least, for me that is what I like. I see someone with a big piece and I just want to like...touch it and lick it. I know that's terrible...but it's just so beautiful. I started out as an art major in college and that was my first passion...I truly think that body art is so beautiful. I wish you well in your body art journey.

so.... why dont you get any? the customers on LA ink getting big pieces are rarely under 30?
like if youre so passionate about them and stuff
