Smiley Ramblings of a Nervous Newbie

OH GOSH! I am shaking already! The manager of a local club I contacted just rang and asked me to "go in to have a chat" tomorrow night, I think because she knows I haven't danced before... She said they hold auditions nightly, fingers crossed she likes me! I'm meeting her right at the starting time of the auditions... I'm going with a sexy bustier/bra thing and stockings with my lacy garter, ruffle black panties and my 6inchers, throw in a babydoll if needed. They're supposed to be an upscale gentlemen's club and they even require the customers to cover any tattoos or piercings, which worries me as I have one tattoo smack bang in the middle of my sternum! Oh well, makeup to the rescue.
I spent months lurking on here, reading up as much as I could and I realised I've been overthinking way too much. Worrying about what they'll think, what to wear, how I'll dance, if I'll trip in my shoes and whatnot... I'm just gonna let it go and see what happens.
I must say, you ladies are wonderful and your help is greatly appreciated.

I get so put off by places who make you cover tatts! I went in for a chat to one such 'classy' place, and the moment the girl mentioned covering tatts I went sour! Blah.

How strange that customers have to cover up their tattoos and piercings. Best of luck at you audition!

I got the job! It was so foreign to me, getting up on stage... I felt awkward but did my best and she said compared to the other girls with no experience I was really good! She wanted me to start tonight but I couldn't as I had a friend with me... So she said as soon as I could get a gown I can start. I'm so excited and it was no way near as bad as I thought. The girls seem really friendly and the management is really helpful and friendly. She said it's quite easy to pick up once you start, I guess I can't have been that bad if I could have started tonight. I'm terrified at the thought of my first shift but also very excited! This world is all so different. :3

congratulations!! It is a totally different world, isn't it? I'm starting this weekend too and I'm nervous but totally thrilled!
how's the boyfriend feel about it? I read your post about him recently. Don't let him get to you - it sounds like you're gonna do great and have fun with it!
I'm so mystified by gown clubs! I've only been to strip clubs where strippers look like, well, strippers LOL

Thanks guys! Ooo goodluck kedamono for this weekend! :3
My boyfriend... Hmm, I've decided to not tell him. Not lie, just bend the truth, haha. I'm going to at least wait a few shifts to make sure I want to do this instead of throwing my relationship away over it.
Yeah, the gown thing is a bit weird I thought! I mean, they're sexy and all, but I've always thought the whole 'fishnets with booty shorts and sexy bra' kind of vibe looked super hot. This place is supposedly classy though. I covered my tattoo up the best I could and she didn't even notice, I didn't realise how those lights in the clubs wash out pretty much anything on your skin, haha.

Yeah, I mentioned to my boyfriend a few weeks ago that I wanted to get into dancing, at the time he wasn't fazed at all. Within two weeks he had envisioned all sorts of reasons to be against it, so I'm thinking I'll dance until we move in together....
